I do lots of cycling so I'm pretty lean. Trying to get to the magic 130 lbs in time for the race season. I'm 6'0" though, so 135lbs is maybe more realistic.
Jebus. Frickin' bike racers. Most non-cycling people I've known that size were (male) ballet dancers. They were in good shape and fairly strong for their rather small size, but still pretty much twigs.
I, on the other hand, have a much larger frame/build, and I'm a hair under 6' and just over 150 pounds at the moment. For me, this is
very skinny, and in the past I've developed low blood pressure issues if I go any lower. If I drop below 150 I get my ADD meds taken away by my doctor (which sucks, because then I can't get any work done) and have to force feed myself until I put weight back on.
It's a pain in the ass, because I already eat at least 2500-3000 calories a day
without exercising enough. To actually put weight on, I have to eat even more and put in a concerted effort with a decent amount of regular exercise. It took me months last year to get back over 160, and it all disappeared in six weeks when I took a break after hurting my wrist/shoulder.
I unintentionally am smaller than in high school, when I was 170-175 (depending on how much time I spent at the gym) and mostly muscle. At least my metabolism's slowed down a bit since then, so I don't have to eat nearly as much as I did then. I used to average ~4000 calories a day and was as high as 6000 occasionally. Most people who have ever had difficulty losing weight hate me. Heh.
