I hadn't even heard of it before people started mentioning that Nostalgia Critic was ending.

In fact I was wondering what TGWTG even stood for before seeing this topic.

There's still Linkara's ATFW, the Power Rangers thing from Linkara, Angry Joe, uh...Doug's other shows...his new show that we don't know anything about...Spoo-no wait, he was fired.

So yeah. Still going to be watching TGWTG. And Spoony over at his own website.

I haven't been to ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com for a long time, since I started getting attacked by viruses from visiting there (about a year ago). But I have been watching a few people that are on the site through Blip. The Nostalgia Critic is one I stopped paying attention to a long time ago; I think the last thing I watched by him was The Thief and the Cobbler review. That or like Ferngully 2 or something. Point is, I got sick of him, so I won't miss the Nostalgia Critic that much.

Here's a brief list of other people on the site I watch:
Pawdugan
Todd in the Shadows
Nostalgia Chick
JesuOtaku (personal favorite)
Y Ruler of Time
Spoony (ex-TGWTG)

I feel like I should try checking out more of Lindsay's friends Nella and Lisa (the Phantom-obsessed one from some of Paw's videos, as well as Pushing Up Roses. Used to like Linkara's videos, too, but I dropped off after I stopped visiting the site probably because I don't know that much about comics. Maybe I should see what he's up to, he seemed like a stand-up guy.

Oh, of course. I love the Nostalgia Critic videos, but I can definitely respect their sentiment that the character has run his course, and respect them for cutting it short.

Besides, I still love Todd in the Shadows, Linkara, Paw, and PushingUpRoses, and I've barely even touched the backlogs of the other reviewers I've been meaning to check out (Rap Critic, Lupa, Brad Jones especially, etc.).

Besides, there's that "Devil Reel" thing Doug mentioned in the video...

Honestly, I watch most of their content on Youtube or their individual sites. The official website's videos always lag and become unplayable for me. That being said, though I'm sad to the Nostalgia Critic come to an end, I'll still watch their content. I really love the Bum Reviews, Linkara's videos, and Angry Joe's material, and I occasionally watch Spoony (though he doesn't count anymore) and Nostalgia Chick as well.

Yeah, Doug will just do something new, plus I'm one of those rare freaks that watches everything, even the guys who break away from Channel Awesome. If Littlekuriboh stopped doing YGOA, I'd still watch him because I know he'd do something else entertaining.

I'm surprised that I'm neither surprised nor disappointed by this, because I did like NC & I didn't see it coming. I wasn't even going to watch the annual movie until all of the episodes were up, I guess that would be now.

Man, this is going to be really awkward mention for the the Lost in the Static podcast. Only a few episodes ago they were bashing on how cliche & tiring they found net reviewers, especially Doug's character. I didn't agree with the episodes, I was more surprised that Scott & Josh were agree with eachother on anything.

To be honest, I think it's been easy to tell over the last few months that Doug Walker has been running out of steam with the Nostalgia Critic. I haven't watched one of his videos in a while, for the simple fact that, well, he stopped doing nostalgic movies. I'm sorry, but "Signs" and "Scooby-Doo" don't count as nostalgic movies.

I'll still watch Film Brain, Cinema Snob, and Todd in the Shadows, though. And I'd much rather it be either Lupa or Phelous retiring. Those two are just bad.
At first, I thought you were the first to mention that Doug was merely stopping with NC, but then you say nothing about looking forward to whatever he does next, making me believe that you & everyone else who's commented believes that Doug is leaving Channel Awesome.

Doug is not leaving. He only said he wouldn't be doing Nostalgia Critic Anymore. Last time someone on The Escapist screwed up by reporting that Spoony had been fired when Phelous & Rob Walker confirmed that he had actually quit. This time an forum member creates a poll leaving out all the details, avoids linking to the video, & leaves people to come to the wrong conclusion.

I barely even watch the NC anymore. I usually just watch stuff on blistered thumbs, Inked reality, and the music people (todd & rap critic) from Team TGWTG.
BT is a little harder for me to keep visiting. Angry Joe migrated back to the main site, even though he technically should be on BT, Chaosd1 gets way more comments & conversations going on his own blog, & I can't remember the last time Rinry GameGame, PeanutButterGamer, or Jon Tron uploaded something there.
