I am not superstitious in the slightest, over anything. This puts me into arguments sometimes with my parents though, who believe in dowsing, ghosts, bad luck (or really, luck in general), etc.
I used to be superstitious ironically, but now I have developed some actual superstitions. For instance, if I can, I do everything in multiples of two, four, or eight. I have no idea why.
I do things out of habit that could be considered superstitious, but they are by no means intentional in order to avoid bad luck, or whatever the hell superstitious people are avoiding.
No, not at all. Some superstitions came from common sense (don't open an umbrella indoors, because you may hit someone in the face) but the rest have no basis in reality and are to be ignored.
No way, that's compliantly ridicules! why would
I base everything I do on some
silly superstition with no logical baring on
reality. I mean, that's absured it what
it is. what crazy people there are!
has anyone else noticed that each of
my lines have seven words? ummmm... WORD!
there that should... oh god I'm typing
again, must keep it at seven words
or bad mojo will haunt me! There!
Do I believe that if I let a black cat walk in front of me, that I will have bad luck? Of course not. Its really silly to believe that a bunch of random events could cause a series of unlucky events.
no i just avoid doing stupid things like walking under ladders and opening umbrellas indoors!!
Tho my mum freaks if i put nw shoes on the table.
Also if a black cat crosses my path that one is good luck. K maybe i believe in good luck.
I'm not really superstitious but I know all the little gimmicks and like to go along with them for fun; Like avoiding walking under ladders and not stepping on cracks. Although Murphey's Law seems to be a little too real for my liking.
