Poll: Are you That Guy?

Those of you who've watched ZP's Brawl Review should know what I'm talking about. Are you just that guy who is always better than your friends and family at any game you play together and their incompetence just pisses you off when you play? I for one would say i'm the that guy of my entire family and well over 50% of my school from what I can tell. What about you?

I am that guy. But i hate it because everyone gets pissed when the game starts stacking handicaps against me. It sucks ass when i do half as much damage and get KO'd in a millisecond. Fucking Brawl.

And for games where there isn't a handicap system. I'm convinced the game just starts treating me like shit. It'll start glitching and giving me absolutely nothing. My bullets will noclip through peoples heads and my grenades will defy the laws of physics and bounce back.

And its not me playing bad. Its a documented phenome-nom-nom. It gets steadily worse the longer i play a single game.

I do get irritated when I'm stuck with someone who has no idea how to play...but sometimes I'm not that good.
So I suppose I'll have to say that I am "That guy" to some degree.

Not really... the only game where I'm better than my friends is Rockband, and I just laugh when they start failing on medium xD
Poor guys, but to be fair, they don't get much practise like I do.

Most of the games genres that I usually play I'm the guy. Except for guitar hero/rock band and driving games I'm definitely not the guy for those games.

I'm that guy most of the time. Sometimes I let other people win. I am actually really happy when I'm not "that guy." It's more fun when I have to play the game seriously and can't just own everyone.

Recently I was playing Unreal Championship 2 with a buddy, and after I turned on Instagib the fighting quickly became way more fun (and hilarious).

I'm that guy to some people, not many though. I've had a few friend's over to play Halo 3 deathmatch, all but two (one of whom is pure pwnage incarnate) got pissed because I kept beating them. My manager/best drinking buddy actually said "Alright, fuck this, I quit. I forgot why I don't play this with you, cuz you piss me off."

Depends on the game for me. Usually I play games for fun, but when it comes down to some multiplayer games, I become that guy.

I sometimes can be, although that is mostly with family members. For example, I could easily whop my mom in a FPS of some sort, but if the game is Tetris or the original Super Mario Kart and I actually have some damn good competition.

And then there is Bubble Bobble, where I am not "The Guy" in comparison to my Mother and my Aunt at all (although that is more of a co-op game so it might not count).

I tend to be the guy among my friends with the party systems. I was the first of my friends to have an xbox and start hosting 4 player games of Halo 2, or more when we could. I have both Brawl and Rock Band 2. This naturally gives me an edge because the games I have to enjoy when I am around friends are also mostly the games I have to enjoy when I want to blow steam. That said, I am not that good. Though I do tend to go towards the top of the pack, I am not the best. And more importantly, I am in it to have some fucking fun. I don't care how bad everyone else is. In fact, it has lead to some fun scenarios, such as 3 vs. 1 Halo death match with me still winning.

In short, kind of, but not really.
