Hey the Italians pretty much started the Catholic church, a church known throughout the world for not letting any of it's officials get their freak on anybody............................................................................................................................Oh waitHardRockSamurai said:Yeah probably. Besides, have you ever tried convincing an Italian into a life of celibacy?pantsoffdanceoff said:It COULD be a great back story or just a stupid romance shoe-in, only time will tell. Most likely he's just a pimp -ass Italian who likes bling (reinforced by his choice of clothing).
If you really want to play a protagonist who isn't out for revenge for their dead wife, just play Fable and be the one who kills your wife!HardRockSamurai said:So I just watched this Assassin's Creed 2 trailer examination video:

In the last couple of seconds, they reveal what I think to be the most important fact towards the game's story; Ezzio (our new Altair) not only has all his fingers intact, but he wears a wedding ring. Is he married?
This usually wouldn't be anything interesting, except for the fact that nearly every male, video game protagonist with a wife HAS said wife die during the course of the game. The last thing I want hear about this game is that we're going to have to play as YET ANOTHER main character who's seeking revenge for the death of his wife.
Anyway, those are just my thoughts. What are yours?
IM going to have to go with this guy.pantsoffdanceoff said:It COULD be a great back story or just a stupid romance shoe-in, only time will tell. Most likely he's just a pimp -ass Italian who likes bling (reinforced by his choice of clothing).
He never kills anyone! I demand all my characters to be involved in no less than 50 murders.orannis62 said:You don't like Desmond? I'll bet my shoes that by the third game, there'll be another chick for the future guy...unless they make us play as the pansy who was captured.
For the same reason it's pronounced "peetza" rather than "peeza." Those wacky Italians and their double zeds.delta4062 said:I have a more important question
Why is it pronounced Etzio? wouldn't it make more sense as Eezio?
Actually it's not a double zed, the name is Ezio; still, sometimes in Italian the 'z' is pronounced [ts] (as in "Ezio", "pizza"), sometimes [dz] (as in "zeta", "zona"). It's different from the normal 'z' pronounciation in English, that is [z].Lazarus Long said:For the same reason it's pronounced "peetza" rather than "peeza."
