I'll probably GF it. Hopefully they'll improve the plot to make it be a little more sensible..

Assasins Creed did not 'suck'. You cant actually say that with any conviction, can you now squire? Thats just mean isnt it? Just think how long it took those lovely people to produce all those pretty animations, and all the time and effort that went into the backdrops and character skins etc etc etc blah-dy blah blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well duh I'll get it. I belong in the mistreated category of people who LOVED the first game. I must've been the only person who got addicted to the game just by watching trailers, and this was the first game for me that didn't crush my hopes gathered from trailers.
So yeah, if Ubisoft can keep it up and even perfect nr. 2, I'm sure to get it.

People that thought Assassin's Creed sucked have only themselves to blame. I remember the forums all over as each tidbit of info got released leading up to the first one, and you people went nuts. You put this game - based only on its screenshots and teaser trailers - in a tower of chased silver and pure shimmering fucking samite and then baawed all butthurt when it didn't live up to your lofty expectations.

Assassin's Creed was a new idea, made on a great engine, with great mechanics. Yes, it was repetitive and yes, there could have been so much more to it. But if you take the game as it is, and enjoy it for what it is, it is a fantastic game and the sequel, if Ubisoft listens to the reviews of more important people than whining gamers, will be better.

Of course. The first one was fun, sure there was a little bit too much doing the same thing over and over, but the environment was fantastic, the means of moving through it was great, and the variety of ways you could stab the fuck out of people was great.

Also, I didn't even mind the combat, which most people had trouble with, and would, whenever I felt like a break from the same old, find the biggest group of guards I could and slaughter them all.

It was also fun getting up on the archer towers outside the cities and playing king of the castle, hurling off everyone who tried to climb up with Altair's grab and throw move.

I said this in the other thread of the same topic and i'll say it again.

Assassin's Creed sucked, I hold no hope for Assassin's Creed 2.
Your opinion.

That game was fun. Really, really fun. Even if I had to wait till new PC to fully enjoy it, it was great.

Hopefully, Ubisoft will learn on mistakes and make it even better.

That is to say, I do not know requirements of AC2 - if I will, I'll vote accordingly.

I disliked AC a lot as well, really a lot, but AC2 seems to fix/eliminate everything I hated about AC1 thus I hold high hopes for AC2. And well...come on, parkouring in Renaissance era Florence and Venice....*drools*
But to the OP's question: I'll get it, for the 360 that is.
