Poll: Assassins Creed or Borderlands

Depends what you want. I prefer Borderlands, but it has close to no real story, which AC does. However, I think romping around in the Borderlands world is more fun. If you want to engage yourself in a story, go for AC. If you want a (relatively) mindless burst of action, go for Borderlands.

Borderlands is fantastic, and I'm saying that as someone who generally gets angry at shooter after shooter being cranked out of the cesspit known as the gaming industry these days. It's remarkably different from most though, sorta feels like you're playing an FPS version of Diablo. So yes go Borderlands IMO, especially if you can convince a friend or two to play it too.

Perhaps I'm a little biased because I like Borderlands a lot, but... Borderlands.

Borderlands is for real gamers. Many of you are used to playing games like Assassin's Creed. How much playtime does that provide anyway? Eight hours? Ten? That's great for a sissy game. Well Borderlands provides more than 9000 hours. Because real gamers want more playtime.
