One of the things ive wondered is what people think of astrology.
I personally think its one of the most pointless things there is, but some people actually believe it.
Whats your opinion?

What like the signs of the Zodiac?

Of course they are.

Astrology doesn't hold any scientific credibility.

You can't determine people's destiny by looking at balls of fire.

This article is a great resource for explaining how dumb astrology is.

Of course it's true. People who don't believe it is are ignorant.

Just look here *looks to the stars*

By looking at the stars, I can see that a majority of you aren't agreeing with me and think I'm a twat.

See! It totally works!

Completely pointless. It's completely unable to effect the way peoples lives turn out. Fakey, fakey, fakefakefake.

Yes/No...

All things ARE pre-determined, but stars give NO indication as to what path certain atoms will follow. You can't use distant stars to predict the future. Unless its giving signs of going nova.

It's a load of toss!

It's been proven it's a load of toss, and a lot of the people who do it have admitted it's a load of toss.
Quite right there Furburt. nice to know one of the escapists most reputible contributors agrees with me :p

It depends on your belief. If for example you believe there is a grand plan to everything that happens, wouldn't it make sense that the stars...the universe can tell us about it???
However if you don't believe in fate then...
Me I couldn't care either way.

It's more or less a waste of time; everything about astrology is so vague, it's hard for me to take it seriously. That being said, I wouldn't judge someone who does believe in it. To each their own.

So, giant balls of gas billions of miles away, arbitrarily organised by a kiddy boffing Greek 2,000 years ago affect our lives? Oh, and there are only 12 personality sets on the planet? Tosh!

There was talk about 5 years ago that maybe there should be a 13th sign of the zodiac. That means that clowns who believe in this pile have been even more wrong for all of this time because so many people have been the wrong sign.

'ave a word!

I don't believe a word of it, but I find that if you memorize the personality stereotypes of the signs & you're reading books that introduce characters as being such-&-such, you learn everything you need to know about the characters. In other words, it's useful in fiction as a brief description of a character without having to write a longwinded introduction.

No, seriously, to most people I'm just one step above a troll.
I'd say you're pretty close to troll but you make up for it by the occasional smart post.
