I have to point this out but nearly everyone who voted for Smart and Ugly is lying, I've spent a lot of time on these kinds of thread and noticed that a lot of people are EXTRODINARILY shallow.

Attractiveness is subjective while intelligence is universal, I would much prefer to be smart than attractive because what good are looks without an interesting personality.

Ignorance is bliss and attractiveness gets you relationships and friends which generally keep people happy. Also, smart people tend to be weighed down with problems, especially if they are ugly. Thus, dumb and attractive in my mind is more happy, which is most important.

I think a lot of people are interpreting the poll as: attractive, dumb and non-committal vs. smart, ugly and will be committed to a relationship.
