EB, usually, but JB is being crazy at the moment. I got Skyrim for $80- $20 less than standard new release price.

If only JB had a wider PSP selection... Ah, well.

I get everything from Steam because EB Games prices are fucking retarded. If I have to buy something on console I go to Big W or Harvey Normans because their cheaper than EB Games.

Steam, but only when it's either on sale or has come down in price significantly since release. I can only recall one game for which I paid more than $20 on steam lately (Portal 2).

If it's either not on steam or too expensive on steam (thanks publishers, we appreciate being charged double what the US pay), then I pick it up on Ebay or another online store.

EB Games mostly, but usually I only buy older games that are around $15

Other than that, Steam if it is cheap. Love those random deals they put out.
I only rarely buy launch day games.

EB Game, usually because I pre order the collectors Editions and I like the staff.

But if I find a game that I don't want the collectors Edition for I usually go to JB to see if they are cheaper.

I buy from Steam mostly (I love the convenience of never needing disks).

If a particular title I want is a steamworks title then I shop around since it will activate through steam anyway.

For example, I got Skyrim and the cloth map from Ozgameshop for $43 and Saints Row 3 from Green Man Gaming for $34. The combined cost of $77 is cheaper than just Skyrim by itself on Steam by $13.

I'm from New Zealand, and if it's not on Steam I'll get it from EB Games because I know the manager. I don't get a discount, I just enjoy her company for 30 seconds.

If new, JB are always cheaper. I almost exclusively buy second hand though as $120 is too much for me for a new game. Mix between JB, EB and Game. My local gametraders was significantly more expensive, until it closed down cos noone bought from them.

I never buy from retail stores these days.

Online distribution for PC games that I can't get from stores (Steam and Blizzard's store).

www.ozgameshop.com and www.dvd.co.uk for console stuff and new release PC games that are steamworks titles. Delivery times for these are usually between 4-12 business days, well worth paying half price for stuff. Expect to pay ~$55 ($~45 for PC games) for brand new releases, as apposed to $110 in EB or $80-95 in JB Hi-Fi/Big W. The UK is a PAL region so games are all compatible with your Xbox's and PS3's.

The savings are ridiculous, I've basically doubled (sometimes even more) the amount of games I can buy.

You should also buy your DVD's/Blu-Rays, books, accessories etc etc online too, the savings are almost always still ridiculous for these types of things.

Usually EB games. I don't see why anyone would go to anyone else when EB will price match other stores, that way you get it at the same price and you can return it within a week if it sucks.
Does it price match online stores like ozgameshop and play-asia? I've always wondered
I doubt it. Those sites import their games so I don't think they count. You could always print up the page and go ask.

I'm pretty sure they only price-match bricks and mortar outlets though.

JB I guess. GAME and EB also have cheap deals from time to time.
I wouldn't go to JB for used games though, I couldn't get the bloody stickers out completely.

But recently I discovered ozgameshop, a bit of a wait, but is oh-so-cheap!
