Based on my personality, air bending. But, based on my likes and dislikes, fire bending. It's that inner pyro in me that pick fire bending I think.

personality or otherwise, airbending is always the choice for me (mostly because of that freedom thing).
If not that, then alternatively waterbending, because it's so diverse.

A Waterbender. Mostly due to my nature as a caretaker and my love of the cold. :3

Firebending would be second due to my volatile emotions and how bad I am at holding them back.

For everyone that thinks you can metalbend just from picking earthbending, you realise Toph could only do it because she was blind...

aye, but now that she has done it, her knowledge has spread, and with some searching and serious effort, we could probably get some basic skills.

But the point of her being able to do it was because her Earthbending style is completely different. Not saying it isn't possible, but someone would essentially have to re learn Earthbending from an entirely new perspective first AND THEN train to Metalbend. It seems reasonable that she wouldnt have had time to pass it on to anyone in her lifetime, unless she had children. That way she could teach them her way from a very young age. Even then it's not guarenteed that they would even be benders though.

My personality screams earthbending, and as others are using them, it also goes with my astrological sign (Virgo). But I wouldn't know exactly which one I would want. They all have some pretty awesome applications. I like the flexibility of water, the defense and relative simplicity of earth, and the pure power of fire. And being able to fly with air would be just plain fun.

Can't I just be our generation's avatar?

I've always been partial to Firebending- it's quick, efficient, and incredibly fun to watch.
Though, I admit, compared to the other disciplines, it has very little practical use outside of battle, and I don't like to harm others.

So, I'd probably choose Earthbending (my second favorite) as it fits well with my personality- patient, slow to react, and grounded.

I would want water.

People who say water to rip blood out of people. You could also you earths metal bending. Rip the iron right out of them. Or air and pull the air out of their lungs and near by area.

The one I wouldn't choose would be fire. Fire is depened on air and be counter easily by both water and earth. So everything can beat it.

I think based on my personality I'd be air, but if I could choose I'd go with water. It's just such a diverse element; it has a lot of uses for a lot of situations, all of which are awesome and practical.

Also, I just have to say, this is the greatest show I've ever seen. Ever. So good in every respect.

Bending metal sounds awesome anyway, I can create a shelter or make weapons in an instant. Also, I can fly on a piece of it
