Unless the additional 8 minutes are nothing but Na'vi slaughtering set to a musical accompaniment of James Cameron apologizing for that unoriginal mess of a movie and begging for forgiveness, I think I'll pass.
Props to this, by the way. A-freaking-men, mate. I hope this doesn't count as an unsubstantial post but wow did you encapsulate my feelings on the movie.

Was nothing special. So, no.

EDIT: I mean come on. Wait 'till its been long enough for there to be any nostalgia. But I don't think it really needs another showing but whatever.

I kind of liked the film and wouldn't mind seeing it again, but I'd have to pay extra to see it in the cinema, even more if I wanted to see it in 3D, and all I get extra is an extended sex scene which was probably cut because of the vast amount of awkward.
So, no. I won't see the re-release.

why do people still care i admit it was a good movie but i don't see why it got such a huge fan base i mean what the hell people what is it about this move that makes you think its a damn act of god and should be in theaters again? No movie should be in the theaters again after its month is up heck avatar was out for too long anyway. Fuck no i will not see it and i will not judge anyone that does see it (like anyone cares about that part) but i will say this.

What the Fuck guys? What the FUCK

I would, but I never got to see the original, so... justified?

But by comparison, I'd have seen Advent Children had it been in theaters, and I'd have jumped at the chance to see Advent Children: Complete (in HD-o-vision, with extra and changed scenes) in theaters too. But I'm a FFVII fanboy, so... XD

The only way I'll see that movie again is if in the end the Na'vi are brutally crushed by the Imperial Guard led by Commisar Cain: Hero of the Imperium!

I didn't hate the movie but it's not exactly one of my faveorites.

I have no desire to ever see this film in any form at any point.

So, no.

I am actually. I hate how expensive movies are, but it's avatar and I didn't see it in theaters the first time. It seems like the movie you have to see in theaters.

I didnt see the original version, and im not going to see this one either. If I did want to, I would just watch a shitty quality version on You tube. I doubt the expeirence would be any less enjoyable.

Nope, no chance. I saw the original release and actually enjoyed it a decent bit, but I definitely didn't enjoy it enough to spend another $15 on it.

Really, James Cameron?

Do you REALLY need to do this? You have (minus inflation) one of the highest grossing movies in the history of cinema and you want us to see it AGAIN? With 10 extra minutes? What could those 10 minutes possible contribute to the asinine and overused plot of this movie?

I give you, sir, the double flip-off. Enjoy the millions more you'll make for this re-release.

No. I didn't like Avatar and it felt too long to me because I didn't like it. An extra 15 minutes? Please no.

I guess I can see why it was re-released, because it's a kinda of movie that has to be seen on a huge scale, but I didn;t even like it that much. :/
