so no one made a post about this yet (strange) but in the marvel universe they just started a big event titled avengers vs x men where (spoiler) the avengers fight against the x men (gasp)
im here to ask who are you with? and why?
so yea im with the avengers what about you?
also what do you think about the event as a story? yay or nay? (i try to be optimistic)

so once again the phoenix (a distractive cosmic entity who is responsible to the death of jean gray founding x men and cyclops wife) is coming to earth again looking for a new host in hope, the mutant messiah. the avengers want to take hope into protective custody in order to defend her from the pheonix but cyclops have reached a conclution that the pheonix keeps coming back to the x men and keeps bonding with mutants for a reason he assumes that perhaps they should train hope to control the phoenix so she can save the nearly extincted mutant race captain america comes to the x mens home to take hope but cyclops resists and a fight starts...
now personaly im with the avengers in this argument because while what cyclops says kind of makes sense to me i think its a risk not worth taking the phoenix is extremely dangerous and if he is wrong (even though he will probably turn out to be at least partly right since its a comic book and not reall life) it puts a lot of people in danger if the avengers are wrong no harm done we can just wait for the phoenix to return again (we all know it will).
also ive seen cyclops make a lot of questionable desicions lately prim example is his stand against evacuating young mutants from the sentinal thretened utopia in schism or impulsivly attacking cap when he refuses to leave without hope and that just makes me doubt him as a leader while its understandable that the phoenix is a sensitive topic for him (it did killed his wife after all) i just dont trust him enogh to handle this...
