Ok, since 2011 was a juggernaut of a year I have an extensive backlog to work through.

So I would ask for suggestions on what game to work through now that Ive finished Arkham City.

Games that I am considering.

Finish playing thru LA noire on 360
Finish playing thru Dark Souls on PS3

Run through Witcher 2 on GoG
Run through Deus Ex HR on steam

Now heres the twists.

Obviously with the 360 and PS3 Ive tried to play them and lost momentum, For example I am only on the second disc of LA noire and Dark Souls I had just made it to the NPC who will remove curses for you (and killed him)

Deus Ex & Witcher 2 are both on my PC of which my PC is stuck in a room that physically makes me ill to be in for long periods of time (IE poorly ventilated and incredibly uncomfortable seating arrangement)

I CAN play in the PC room, but I can typically only get about 4-6 hours a day in before getting violently ill and in pain being unable to go back in the room for about a day.

So, under those conditions (and only those conditions, so no "fix the PC room so you can breathe in there or move the PC to a different location. " When it comes to these conditions, it is what it is.)

Well they are all good games in their own right but I only own half of them. I own Dark Souls and Witcher 2 and between them I would go with Dark Souls for its combat since it's story is basically throwaway like Demon's Souls or Witcher 2 for a solid experience and some of the best writing in gaming's history. Go check out the Witcher forums and see people's feeling on Letho who many call "gaming's best antagonist". As for L.A. Noire or Deus Ex I don't own either and never plan on it since I basically know I won't like them off the bat.

Minesweeper. Seriously, give that shit a run.

Honestly? Deus Ex. I just think that is the best option.

Deus Ex is entirely worth it. I played it in what I assume to be similarly uncomfortable surroundings, but I enjoyed every minute.

How about a new solution?

Get Deus Ex: HR for console?
I would, except Deus Ex: HR license is already bought and paid for along with the DLC for it. So I will likely buy a physical copy when it gets down to dirt cheap, the Steam incarnation will have to do for now.

Ive come to realize that regrettably if you are going to buy just about any game that you know WILL or already has DLC its typically going to be cheaper to buy it from steam because Steam is about the only outlet that ever reduces the cost of DLC. (Im especially looking at you bethesda)

Anyway, I thank you all for the input and would gladly listen to more. Ill likely make up my mind based on this thread sometime tomorrow.

My solution: move the PC out of the room, then play LA Noire. Seriously, why do you have your PC in a room that makes you horribly physically ill to be in? Get it out of there!

Because it is the only physical space in my tiny home I have available for the PC to be set with all 3 monitors on and at least this week I lack a DVI/VGA converter cable to reattach it back to my living room tv.

EDIT: Old image, but as you can see, that takes up a great deal of real estate

Okay, okay, I got an idea: use only two, or *gasp* one monitor! That would fix it. You can still use your computer, and you can move it out of the room!

Why do you need multiple monitors anyway?

Even using one monitor there is no where to seat the PC anywhere else in the house. It is a 500 square foot 1 bedroom house (not the house in the pic) to which there is next to no room for anything outside of the master bedroom.

As for three monitors, I need real time access to multiple programs at a glance where a split seconds make a massive difference for my vocation even if its only for 10 minutes at a time 10 times a day. (actually I need to even add another monitor to the rig, but Im limping along without it) So unfortunately the PC rig cannot be moved. Ive been working on the issue of the room making me ill since November and have yet to pin down the cause or the remedy.

Also, if I failed to mention it.. Reattaching the PC to the TV is a failing idea because it would mean I would have to discon the HTPC already taking up the VGA slot.

Yes, I know first world problems.
