Well my fellow escapists, I've finally done it! I have ventured where no man, woman, or child dare venture!

I have tasted the HOLY COMBINATION that is Bacon and Icecream and I have to say that is good. It is beyond good. It is the Mother of all Tasty snacks!!!

In case you were wondering, I was simply bored after working in the sun and decided to get an Icecream cone. After making it, I saw that we still had some leftover Bacon Strips from breakfast and that's where the MAGIC BEGAN!!

Honestly it was freaking delicious and I would suggest eating it if it didn't make you feel so damn guilty for eating it.

NOTE: Please work out or do something to burn those calories after you eat it. Who knows what could happen!?!

So my Question to you my fellow escapists is this!?

Would you eat Bacon on Icecream?

Bacon and Ice Cream. Two things I love on there own, and two things I can NEVER imagine mixing well.

I don't want bacon on my ice cream, I don't want bacon flavored ice cream. No, just no!

Cold Stone has gravy ice cream. I can kind of see that going over well, but otherwise...ugh.

I really don't think the health disclaimer is needed. Well, if the person ate like 3 large bowls of it and didn't move afterwards maybe.

But the warning makes it sound like if you have one small bit of ice cream and bacon and then not do anything that you will gain 10 pounds or something.

I've had loads of sweets before and didn't gain anything that was noticeable on a scale.

Heck during my family get together to watch the Indy 500 a week or so ago, I had a large piece of a chocolate cake sandwich thing that had large amounts of cream in the middle, I also had a large amount of Oreo and cream pudding, a rice crispy treat, and a large chocolate chip cookie. My activities include gaming, gaming, and more gaming. Do you think I exercised afterward? Nope. Did I gain weight, nope, I've actually been losing weight.

But no, I never had bacon ice cream, though it sounds like something I would enjoy two bowls of and then sit down and game for 5 hours.

Bacon is an abomination and shouldn't be combined with anything, especially not something as wonderful as ice cream. I hate bacon! No....I despise bacon!

I'm sorry but I'm so OCD after eating anything sweet that I have to do something to burn calories right after. It's just the way my brain works

Next you'll be telling me that garlic ice cream is a real thing that actually exists oh wait it does. So evidently people have been putting strange things into ice cream for a while now.

As for me, I have this policy - dinner foods and dessert foods must be separate, because "dinner" is not allowed to be sweet (or it isn't dinner food anymore, it's a really shitty dessert). I love bacon and I love ice cream, but I wouldn't ever combine them, it would violate my food laws!

OBJECTION!!!!
There seems to be a flaw in your statement.

Bacon is actually a breakfast food and therefore would in no way violate your Food Laws

The defense rests!

Well, I'm open to trying pretty much anything. I had bacon on pancakes with syrup once, and I can't imagine this being all that different.
Savoury + sweet things often combine surprisingly well.

Bacon is an all day, all the time, whenever you want it food, and a delicious accompaniment to all sorts of other foods, most of which are not eaten for breakfast (unless you like BLTs first thing in the morning) - you can make just about anything better by wrapping it in bacon after all. Therefore it isn't lumped in with the breakfast category that sugary cereals or pancakes with syrup occupy. The laws of food stand!

I already knew ice cream wasn't very healthy, but I didn't expect it TO GIVE YOU A HEART ATTACK!

I mean ice cream is fattening, but not like this, just hearing about bacon on ice cream, has already caused one of my arteries to become clogged.

I was offered a bacon with mayonnaise sandwich once from a friend at his gaff. The cheeky bastard put that sweetened canned cream in it instead of mayo and I didn't realise until I bit into it.

It was an unpleasant surprise, but I didn't let on and ate the whole thing. It was actually pretty good.

So, the answer for me is... I'd try bacon with anything (non-vulgar or depravity free that is).
