Poll: Bacon On Icecream?

Next you'll be telling me that garlic ice cream is a real thing that actually exists oh wait it does. So evidently people have been putting strange things into ice cream for a while now.

As for me, I have this policy - dinner foods and dessert foods must be separate, because "dinner" is not allowed to be sweet (or it isn't dinner food anymore, it's a really shitty dessert). I love bacon and I love ice cream, but I wouldn't ever combine them, it would violate my food laws!

I think there was a cooking program on a while ago that had a gastomonist (taste scientist) who had come up with this before by seeing what tastes ice cream got and wha tastes bacon got and found out they work well together

I feel sorry for you, because you haven't yet come to realise that bacon is the one foodstuff that has transcended deliciousness itself to inhabit it's own plane of existence, on which it goes well with any other food, including ice cream.

And that is why bacon and ice cream is good.

i might give it a go next time i'm in the mood for ice cream, wich doesn't happen too often. not much of a sweets eater, really. but i am all about the unorthodox and unconventional foodstuff combinations. there's alot of really tasty combinations out there that most people would rather scoff at than try. thier loss.

Not really, salty and sweet go quite well together. There's even a special "salty and sweet" Chex Mix.

Those are literally my two favourite foods so I wouldn't hesitate. I'd rather do it how Epic Meal Time did it and roll ice cream in finely chopped bacon.
