Poll: Bad Company 2 one of the worst launches ever?

Ah, well, I think they're both good games (MW2 and BC2) but I'm sticking with MW2 until I'm absolutely 100% sure about buying BC2.

I'm sorry but doesn't it seem strange that when someone claims to like a game, and then compares it to call of duty that game always has flaws that mw2 doesn't? Obviously a call of duty fanboy and apparently illiterate.

It wasn't the worst launches ever, since they were mainly hardware and server issues. At least DICE/EA bothered to release patches to fix the issues and that shows they do care somewhat about it after release.

Okay, first off I loved Bad Company 2, its truly a great game but I have been meet with so many bugs I am honestly regreating buying it, I have had the game since the 2nd and have been only able to play the mutliplayer for a couple of hours...

Now this isnt just a problem I have but alot of people have, if you go on to the EA games forums, theirs a topic with almost 120 or so pages of people who bought the game and havent been able to play any multiplayer. In the first month alone the game has been patches 3 TIMES! For a game that was so hyped up to be the MW2 killer, it did a piss-poor job at it, I mean even with dedicated servers its broke, atleast MW2 works.

This problem started on the 2nd and to this day, the 29! the problem still occurs.

edit: this is the PC version.

I agree so much I sold the game a few days after I bought it. I also hated how the engine was so poorly optimized that it looked pretty crappy on pc and still gave me bad frame rates.
I at least planned to finish the single player but when I got to a certain level it started crashing.
I was really dissapointed.

I did the opposite. I actually traded in MW2 for BC2. Best decisions I've made all month.

Not by a long shot. First example that comes to mind is WoW's servers on launch were unplayable for weeks.

I dunno, I enjoy MW2 way too much to just let it go for something I'm not so sure about. I think I'll play it safe and just save my money, for now.
