Out of those 2 BC2 because that was actually a decent game, not great but decent.
For example, the Heavy Train!

That's a pretty ridiculous thing to say. Why'd have to go and say that?ciortas1 said:lesser creature.
It's one of those things that you gotta kinda figure out seeing how both the games have been out for a while.Jewrean said:Thanks for sharing your opinion. And it is just that, a personal opinion. Doesn't make it true. This is a PUBLIC forum. Everyone is entitled to do what they want. If your a mod, well then you have the power to shut it down. In the meantime, rather than ***** about it like an elitist maybe you should just NOT click on the friggen thing huh? No one is forcing you to read something you apparently have seen too much of. PERSONALLY I am new here and have not seen one of these threads yet. I welcome it and I was happy to share my opinion.ciortas1 said:It takes 10 seconds to use the search bar - type in "modern warfare 2" and I guarantee you, you'll see a million billion threads complaining about how shitty and worthless its multiplayer is.
And then 10 more seconds to do the same for Bad Company 2 and find out there has been none of that.
And yes, this thread is pointless, even more so because this topic has been done to death.
Get off your high horse.
Of course it's been done before. But using that logic then there wouldn't be ANY threads because everyone would be too afraid to bring up a topic on the grounds that it may have been done before. There is nothing wrong with duplicate threads, they simply prove that:Tdc2182 said:Do you honestly think no one has done a thread like this before? I agree with this. The two shouldn't be compared in my books.Omikron009 said:It depends on the mood you're in. If you just want some quick shooter action, play MW2. If you're willing to dedicate hours to deep team based gameplay, play Bad Company.
Bad Company 2.Dan Weinstein said:so here's the things... my finals are ending in a couple of weeks and i am going to have ALOT of time to kill. so naturaly the first thing that came to mind was a MP-FPS
so which one is better?
i REALLY enjoyed Battle field 2 if it makes any diffrence

You have a good choice of flavours, my fellow Escapist.Jewrean said:Any of the following:Master_Spartan117666 said:3. Time to derail the thread:

Actually, you got that completely wrong. No one wants to talk about this because its been done to death.Jewrean said:Of course it's been done before. 1) The issue appears important to numerous people:
Bringing up controversial topics, segregating opinions or grouping them together is the fun part of a public forum. Seeing duplicate threads enforces this.
2) The issue has longevity:
The fact that people are STILL talking about it and bringing it up proves that people still want to talk about it. Sure... a select few people might be sick of talking about it. That's fine, but they don't have a right to enforce other people to stop talking about it. After all, just because some people have been on these forums for a long time, others may be fairly new.
People need to realize that your post count and join date do not signify rank and importance. Seeing threads you don't like is a necessary evil if you want to sift through forums. Learn to deal with it.
Case in point: Telling someone off for an unoriginal thread is selfish.
It seems we have missed my original point. Assuming "No one wants to talk about this" would be a little exaggerated. Obviously I do, and so does the original poster. So did everyone else who replied meaningfully. But the over-arching point I was trying to make was that not everyone has been here as long as others. I for example have never had a forum discussion on this particular topic. Just because you have numerous times, doesn't mean the discussion should never be 'discussed' ever again.Tdc2182 said:Actually, you got that completely wrong. Is this directed at me or the original poster?Tdc2182 said:Unless you have lurked here for a while than rank and date do matter, as much as it sounds harsh. I hate to sound like an elitist, but around here we like to avoid stupidity. You are completely right, we don't have a right to enforce what we want. And you are completely fine to ignore us as long as you don't mind this happening on every single thread that you post that is not well thought out. You won't get many proper answers, because it doesnt deserve it.
I made a bit of a mistake, I thought you were the original Poster of this thread, so I will lax up a bit.Jewrean said:4) Every post I make is well thought-out from my perspective. There are however disagreements which is the nature of humanity to fear what is different.
..... Erm... [/rant] lol
You sound a lot smarter than the average beginning poster, much more than me to be honest, but this doesn't make much sense.Jewrean said:4) Every post I make is well thought-out from my perspective.
