Well i just got my subscription of Gamesmaster today [British Gaming mag] and in their 2010 games special talking about all/most of the games planned for 2010 they have a section which is on Bad Company 2 (not much just a paragraph) and in it it says [and i quote] :

"...Bad Company will also feature four multiplayer modes:Rush,Conquest,Squad Match and Squad Rush."

So what do you think? does it sound good? ideas on how it will work? etc. etc.

I'll add more poll options if needed

I think it's good their expanding a bit! BF: Bad Company was an undeniably good game that was constantly bad-mouthed by COD-obsessed people; maybe BF:BC2 will show people how fun a game is where you actually use tactics and its not alway WHIZ-BANG-BOOM action.

how can I answer a poll about a gameplay mechanic when all I know is its name? :s

Anyways, I think most ppl will only wanna play or log the most time on the conquest mode. thats what BF has always been about.

I've been thinking of getting this game.

Total Destructive environments is the only reason. After Battlefield 1943's shitty destructive environments, I am excited to see some good ones.

It'll probably be pretty generic in every other way, but eh.

If that's the only reason just go buy Red Faction Guerilla.
I meant online.

Like, so if someone camping in a building, I can go up behind and be like BOOM! EXPLOSION! THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CAMP!

My only concern (sort of) is what happens when you have an urban map, won't some idiots just run around C-4ing every building until it's just a plain flat map with rubble

All the modes in the world mean shit to me unless the gameplay is good. And sadly for BFBC2 it plays just like the first, which is a bad thing.
How is it a bad thing? I loved BF:BC and I found the gameplay to be great, sure the control scheme is different, but the game plays great!

I just want MASSIVE maps :) I love Gold Rush in BF:BC, I have had sfa problems with campers because of the sheer size of the place its not hard to find a different los with a launcher and bye bye sniper :)
