Poll: Baldurs gate: enhanced edition, impressions?

so i just got the game, and i think the improvements are good, i like the use of class kits and the new characters are fun to use and talk to, but i haven't seen much chatter about the game on the site, forgive me if i'm just looking in the wrong place.
so what do you guys think? improvement or abomination?

Seen far too many people who bought it have far too many issues (some can't even get it to work) so don't feel like throwing my money at it just yet.

Well of course I could buy it; either directly with a nominal conversion charge or via paypal but that's missing the point.

Also, do you know how much it costs to get it as an IPad ap? $7.

Looks good, but I haven't bought it (still have the originals). The fact that the enemy difficulty is now scaled based on your level - which was called out by a couple publications - doesn't sit right with me.

I'm very curious about this. I just re-bought the originals on GOG in the hopes of applying all of the mods and playing through them again. This project was announced a week later. Now I'm unsure of which path to take. The videouploaded today was helpful, but I'm still left with questions. Can anyone give me a comparison? Take into account that being able to play on my iPad would be a HUGE benefit.
