A kitten is crushed so someone is definitely getting hurt, which doesn't fit in this poll. For me: as long as no-one (human, animal or others) is harmed in any way then you can do whatever you like.

What if they consent? That's the big issue. Obviously, the kitten isn't consenting. I'm talking about people and sado-masochism.

I've been thinking about that too and I'm not sure if I can answer that question. What would you do if the consent was made in exchange for money? And if the money was needed because that person had children to feed and no other means to provide it? Is it still consent? I'd rather not starting going down that trail... If you'd ask me personally, I would not be comfortable with someone getting hurt, even if they consent, or if it is for any amount of money for any kind of reason. But again: that's just my opinion.

Fair point about "as long as no one gets hurt", but i think certain fetish videos, such as those of "rape" and those depicting some sort of torture should definitely be restricted, not because it freaks people out but because it fuels and creates fantasies in certain individuals who then cannot resist carrying and recreating those fantasy.

I care because I'm an empathic being, but I definitely do not impose. As I said: I'm just giving my opinion. I don't eat fish or meat myself but I don't hassle my friends when they do.

I don't know who'd WANT to get hurt, and I think those S&M people are insane, but that doesn't give me the right to impose restrictions on their life, unless they hurt someone who hasn't/can't legally consent.

My rule of thumb is, if you are not doing things to someone (Human or animal) against their will, it's all good.

I understand what you are saying, but what if someone convinced a 10 year old girl to do it, would that be ok? Just a little example, I suppose there are lots of torture fetishes, so pain isn't a big deal.
