When I was younger, I used to take baths, then I took an arrow in the knee. NO.
As I grew older, I wanted to get washing over with, rather than spend an hour mucking about in the tub. I haven't had a bath in years.

I shower when I want to be clean.

I rarely have a bath but when I do it's for relaxation. I generally make it really hot and bubbly, bring in a book, a cup of coffee and a cigarette and stew in my own filth for a while.

I may not to it often but I do it right when I do.

Err hard to say.
While I do have bath for relaxation but I can relax with the shower too that is if I take my time on it and the water is right (not too warm nor too hot). In saying so however these days I only take a shower after I had a haircut to get the loose hair bits out so I guess that count as cleaning (I don't have the right shower size to have a shower).

I take showers. It is impossible for me to sing in a bath :p. I have taken some baths before, but after a while I find that breathing becomes uncomfortable, in the sense that there's too much pressure on me. I also find showers WAY more relaxing.

Baths are good for relaxing in, so its normally a shower for me. I also have the size factor to deal with when taking a bath, why are bath tubs so damn tiny. I have found that a shower can be almost as relaxing if I sit down in the shower & lean against the wall. I'll fold up a wash cloth & put it over the drain & let the bottom of the shower fill with about an inch or two of water.

Definitely shower for cleaning, then bath for relaxation.

I'm most taken with the Japanese way of doing it. Their baths are legend; especially the outdoor ones.

I only take baths, but that's because I don't have to water pressure for a shower. If I had access to a shower I'd have be more likely to use that for speed more than anything else. I would still take my relaxing baths, those muscle soothing bath salts are amazing.

I do like the Japanese idea for bathing, although I feel that a western bathroom isn't really designed for it.

Usually shower for cleaning, and for baths I normally use them for relaxing but if I do clean myself I still rinse in the shower.

Where I live, the water pressure is appalling, and so we don't have a shower. So bath mainly, but when I was at Uni I almost used the shower. Not due to hygiene or anything, it's just way faster.

Even though I only weigh about 160 lb, I'm actually to big to fit in most bath tubs. I can't move around to get to all my parts.

I can't stand baths at all, they bothering me to the point I feel I'll drown.

A shower on the other hand, I love, water washing over you, a continuous warmth being flowed over you and a bath the water just gets cold faster and sitting in a bath full of dirt and blah... kinda gross. Showers just wash it down the drain rather it staying.

Showers only.
I haven't submerged fully in water since the last time I made soup.

Baths can be relaxing, but bathtubs are never big enough. I want to be able to relax, not be curled up in a ball with half my body sticking out of the water...

Showers are thus more relaxing because I can get hot water on my entire body at the same time. They're cleaner too :D

I favor showers over relaxing in a tub of my own filth. Besides, it's faster, as I usually take 3-5 minute showers, which are all I need to get clean: a simple wash and then I'm good.

I also haven't used a bath tub in a very long time--I've forget my last time.

For the most part I just shower, it's quicker and I hate the feeling of sitting in the tub with all my dirt and stuff floating in the water with me.

I rarely take bathes and even then that's just to relax though it doesn't seem to help me relax as much as it use to do. I wonder why about that sometimes... D:

Shower only, the water prices here are astronomical, our bath takes forever to fill andour bath isn't big anyway. Showers are quicker, cleaner and easier.

Only time I ever take a both is when I'm sick. I just make the water really really really hot and sit in there and watch a movie on my laptop or something. I don't think it actually facilitate me getting over whatever I have, but it's so relaxing that it just takes my mind off of it.

But even then, there's a hitch: I always follow up those baths with a shower.

Yeah, if you want to be clean: Shower. If you want to stew in everything you're trying to get off, take a bath.

I take baths purely for relaxation - usually on weekends, since I can't really relax doing nothing during the week - and always take a quick shower afterwards for cleaning. Apart from that, it's showers for me. Helps me get going in the morning, makes me feel human again after a long day at work.
