i was wondering which one you guys prefer since both are the top rated games of 2011

Even though I voted, I must say it's kind of like comparing apples to oranges. I mean, they're two completely different games with two completely different objectives as far as game design and goals are concerned. I mean, they were created with two different styles and groups in mind.

I'm going to say a few things here that won't add much to what little discussion there is. You are comparing two very different games from very different genres only real similarity is that they are more single player focused, you are asking this question on a forum with more than its fair share of Valve fans and we tend not to like Vs threads too much on the Escapist as they tend to lead to flame wars and little to no discussion.

That is fine and I completely understand you aren't the first person on the Escapist to make a versus thread but I am just letting you know on the communities view on them and why you won't usually get replies. I don't know how long you have been lurking but leave it for awhile before making another thread to get a better idea of what is generally accepted.

You can try again soon but waiting might give you a better idea on to make a thread that will generate the discussion you want.

I thought the Escapist's almighty Moderators don't find "vs" threads appealing...

By the way, I don't see your point here... It's like comparing a Pizza with a Ducati Motorcycle, both are best bought in Italy but they don't seem to be worthy of any further comparisson. Care to elaborate?
