I'll be getting it on the PC because I like playing FPSs with the keyboard/mouse over the controller. It helps that I recently built myself a brand new gaming PC, so the high requirements won't be an issue.
That said, I actually think multiplayer games can be more noob-friendly on consoles than on the PC. Whenever I play a console shooter I seem to less often get paired up with an entire server full of veterans who can headshot people from across the map with a pistol.

The last time I played it 3 months ago there were hundreds of active games. I doubt it's suddenly depopulated since then :|On the other hand, with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 I can't find online matches to play these day, which is a big letdown, because I enjoyed the multiplayer, but there's no one playing it today.
