I'll be getting it on the PC because I like playing FPSs with the keyboard/mouse over the controller. It helps that I recently built myself a brand new gaming PC, so the high requirements won't be an issue.

That said, I actually think multiplayer games can be more noob-friendly on consoles than on the PC. Whenever I play a console shooter I seem to less often get paired up with an entire server full of veterans who can headshot people from across the map with a pistol.

On the other hand, with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 I can't find online matches to play these day, which is a big letdown, because I enjoyed the multiplayer, but there's no one playing it today.
The last time I played it 3 months ago there were hundreds of active games. I doubt it's suddenly depopulated since then :|

Little update, I tried again today, and no luck, I got as much a server with 400 ping and 2 players, I'm guesing it was Russia, but again, no luck.

I have the Disc version of the game, I don't know if the steam version does makes any difference with this, I hardly think so, but I got word from a friend who got the steam version and he said that while he didn't played that much online, he got to see some servers working and populated... sigh... I'll make a leap of faith and get the PC version, with a new Motherboard, Processor and Memory...

I still remember the PS3 graphics, while not entirely bad, once you seen the best PC can give, it's hard to be unbiased by graphics...
