That would be the opposite for me.Neronium said:People tend to call a company evil if they won't fund certain things really. I mean I can understand why SEGA didn't put it forward, they really couldn't afford to and didn't wanna take a risk, and that's understandable. Most people however view it that SEGA never even wanted to take a chance on it, which for certain we don't know since they really didn't have the funds to do the game back when it was first announced.Dragonbums said:Of course right after the first Bayonetta, they were indeed working on the second game. This is where the funding fiasco comes in. Bayonetta...didn't sell all that hot.
I don't know why people are calling SEGA evil on this. They are having financial woes at the moment, and the ACM/Gearbox fiasco hasn't helped them an iota. So clearly, they couldn't publish, yet alone fund this game. Especially when the first one hardly raked in the cash.
Really for me the Wii U is gonna be a secondary console so I don't plan on getting many games, mainly just first party Nintendo games. Mainly it'll be a Wii 2 for me since my Wii has the region coding broken on it via softmod disc (old Freeloader discs that used to work on Gamecubes as well) so then I can play 2 of my imports. As a result I was locked out of being able to play some of the later Wii games (believe me the imports make it worth it, I love the Unlimited Cruise games). So now I can actually get some of the online games from the eShop, and play some of my Wii games that I really want to play. (Sonic Colors binge, here I come)
Also, thanks for the friend request.
The Wii U would be my primary console and the PS4 would be secondary. I have a feeling that there are going to be a bounty of games to play on the system in the near future.
Also no problem on the friend request. You are a pleasant person to converse with on the Escapist.
