Would have said in before the Console Defense Force, but they already showed up. Keep up the great work defenders, your crusades shall be rewarded by your corporate Overlords, of this I sure.

On Topic: I would sign, not that I would by them, played Bayonetta on PS3, was a horrid bore, but others may want to buy them. Besides watching the console exclusives pool continue to drain makes the League of Console Defenders cry, and that, is a good thing.
I didn't read the petition because I don't care, but aren't those saying there's a viable market so it will be worth it to port to PC? Isn't it misleading to say, "I want you to spend money on that, but I'm not going to buy it." I think it would be better if there was a way to confirm a pre-order to show how many would actually buy it.

P.S. Idort master race for the win, I don't have to worry about platforms :)

Hell yeah we could use more Platinum on PC!

What I have played of Revengeance, it was such fun, if a bit insubstantial.

Vanquish would pretty much be a guaranteed purchase for me, it was one of the first PS3 games I played soon after buying the console. Got it with the instant game collection with PS+ and really enjoyed the game, it could have been a bit lighter on QTEs for my taste but otherwise the whole Gears of War mixed with Crysis thing it had going on was fun.

Gears had gotten a bit stale for me by the time I finished 3 (I never even bought Judgement), although Vanquish pinched many of Gears core gameplay elements it was pretty fresh. It did its own thing enough to more than make Vanquish its own game, it just shared some of those familiar mechanics that made Gears so great. Plus all the giant robots, mechs and the environments along with level design where simply awesome, there where loads of great weapons and upgrades. grabbing the shells being fired from a 30m tall battle mechs cannon and ramming them back down the barrel is pretty spectacular, the Citadel from Mass Effect style space station was a welcome change from grey and brown post apocalypse cityscapes too

If I got the chance to play it on the PC with beefed up graphics but everything else intact I would even pay full price, those levels, enemies and the ARS suit would look brilliant with last gen equivalent PC quality graphics let alone this gen equivalent.

Oh look, another petition. I'm sure it'll look good in sega's bin.

Look, mass effect 3 was a special case with thousands of people raging. But this petition, along with every other petition to a video game company, will fail. Will of the people or not.

i honestly wouldn't need bayonetta on PC, the ps3 version is fine. i mean MGR got a lot better without loading times but it was great before.
vanquish on the other hand would be great but if that is ever ported they need to tweak the difficulty, mouse aim would turn that game into a cakewalk.

and completely OT: fuck you capcom and stick your RE4 shit where the sun doesn't shine

Most of the time ever since Mass Effect, I tend to see these types of petition as coming off as kissing the company/dev asses or outright demanding they be ported to the PC, of course both don't really sound as good as the other but that's what I'm still seeing and I'm sure like you said they'll be ignored over time, besides petitions like those don't exactly guarantee success and even if they did you won't hear the end of the victory or defeat no matter the outcome, it's how those people signing in the first place react.

Ever since MGR touched Steam I've been seeing people and even a petition for the apparent "hardcore" fans wanting the entire MG series ported onto Steam (not seen a hint of sharing it to any other service which is typical for the platform to begin with) and redesigned and tailored just for the PC to use the new personal Fox engine that HK created, most of the comments in that petition to begin with had next to no valid reasoning as to why that demand should even be met but instead with vitriol on consoles as well as downplaying them and using the usual "there's no excuse" type straw man phrase in most of the comments.

I'm more or less assuming the MG petition tanks real hard though at some point, besides even if it did work out the consoles by default would have the have the same treatment since the now current gen is up to the same speed for porting according to most in depth PC users here.

The amount of tushy-kissing in that petition is greatly amusing. I'm sure SEGA will get a decent chuckle out of it before they put it in their "suggestion box" for later, Dr. Kelso style.
