Probably not; I never really like beat-em-ups. It looks pretty damn cool, though, so maybe this will be the title to get me into the genre. I'll at least wait until I can get it at a discount, though.

I imported a copy of Bayonetta, and I really do enjoy it.

If you're into hyper-stylized violence, you really can't go wrong with this, as it easily trumps anything DMC or God of War has ever done.

I played the demo. I pressed buttons, she jumped around, I had no idea whether I was winning or losing (except when the big thing saying "CONTINUE?" came up.
But I had loads of fun. I'm going to buy it.

Ok so our standard of weirdness is angelic bird people with spears:

Toejam and Earl - You play alien rappers trying to escape from Earth. Each island is populated by antagonistic Earthlings, such as phantom ice-cream trucks, aggressive packs of nerds, giant hamsters, Bogeymen, man-eating mailboxes, and police chickens
Earthworm Jim - Bungee fights with a ball of snot, not to mention the fact you play a worm in a super suit.
Sonic - He is a blue hedgehog who has super speed
Boogerman - Quote: A pick and flick adventure

That's just to name a few Genesis oldies. Video games used to be pretty much defined by being completely bizarre ideas/worlds/characters.

If I had a PS3, then I would buy it on the first day it came out. Sadly, all I have is a PC. I have played it over at a friend's house and it was the greatest fun I have had in a long time.

well, my room mate played the demo and I watched, it looked almost exactly like devil may cry if dante was a chick and his clothes randomly flew off... and were made of hair... and if he kept randomly shouting his own name.

don't get me wrong, I loved dmc, I played the hell out of it. but then there's the music in this game... it's just something I really couldn't stand listening to for more than 5 minutes unless I knew putting up with it'd get me laid, and that just isn't the case here, so a nay from me.
