For the non-critical stuff I only read the privacy sections that deal with the use of my information. For the big stuff (insurance, mortgage, etc) I sit down with a professional and go through every clause - luckily this doesn't need doing very often.

It depends on what the contract is for. If it's something like a job description - too right I'll read it.

But if it's something like an EULA for a game, no. At that point, I think "I paid money for this, ergo - I OWN this and can do whatever I like with it" while hammering the 'accept' button. Whatever takes me into the game I bought. (And own.)

I usually skim them. Trying only to read those parts that could fuck me over in a distant (or not so distant) future.

Heh, no way.

When you are moments from installing and/or playing a game you really want to play, one doesn't care about such things.

I usually skim through them but honestly not likely at a deep enough level to really catch every underhanded bit that's probably thrown in.

You know, back in the day when I still bought physical games and those games still had manuals with actual printed ToS... Back then I sometimes skimmed them when the game was installing. Sometimes.

I've had to read some contracts for my job. Pretty dry stuff. In my own life I just click "Yes, install the new iTunes." If I were getting a mortgage or something I would read and understand every word before signing.
