Was having a discussion with some acquaintances of mine about beards, and whether women are attracted to them or not. So I'm taking the question to you; Beards, yes or no?

As a manly man I think that bearded is the way to go. It's quite cute when you kiss a girl and it tickles her a little.

Beards, of course. I'm not a soldier, nor a police officer where I might have to routinely don a gas mask that must fit snug to my chin. Besides, the ladies love a beard. Keep it clean, and conditioned, and gently run it over her stomach or thighs. Solid gold appreciation, right there.

I'm a fan of beards. I think when a beard can be grown in full it can make a man look magnitudes more classy. Myself I tend to stay clean shaven simply because I wouldn't not look good with a large beard and I'm not sure how evenly it would grow in on me.

Honestly I think it depends on the guy. Some guys look great with beards and horrible without them (Conan O'Brien) while others look great with a shaved face but would look horrible with beards (Orlando Bloom).

It depends on the neatness of the beard and the style. Some guys just don't look good with the hair they grow.

I keep myself clean shaven, my "beards" look horrible

I really don't like guys with beards. The most I'll go for is a little stubble, and even then, it's a rare guy who can pull that off. I much prefer clean-shaven men. In my opinion, what guys think of as "manly beards" end up looking like "hobo beards."

Well I for one am pro-beard. Current circumstances leave me beardless at the moment, but my time will come again.

I've had mixed reactions among my lady friends on the bearditude. Some hate it. Some like it. One of them liked it even for more... up-close activities >.>

I've had a reasonably trimmed Van Dyke since around junior year of high school. My GF has forbidden me to shave it.

Some people seem to find it intimidating which is a shame because I'm really a pretty goofy person. But as long as the GF's happy, I'm happy.

as a man, i don't have much say on it, personally i prefer My face to be clean shaven, as it bugs the hell out of me, i physically hate the feel of facial hair under my chin/jaw so i shave it all off, plus i just don't really pull it off, but for whatever guy who does, sure, why not.

most of the girls i know don't really like it, if they do they prefer it clean cut, not a scraggly mess like most guys do who grow it out.

Hah, you didn't specify wimminz. That means I can comment too.

I reckon you have to have the right face for it, and that a narrow face like mine generally - how do I put this - isn't.

Fat guys usually look better with beards, for example.

I also think that, while beards often look manly, they don't really look sexy. Then again, I'm a guy, maybe manly and sexy are the same thing to most women.

As man who can grow a good beard and looks funny when shaven, I hope the answer is Pro beard.

For the most part I think a lot of it depends on if it is kept clean, neat, and "complete".

I generally don't like much of a beard on myself, nor on guys I'd like to date/kiss/do more to. That said, it's not a dealbreaker.
