The new instruments look fantastic but I think I'm going to grab just the game initially.

I love the Beatles but will probably only buy a new guitar/bass because I've pimped my drums so much (real pedal and super duper awesome new expensive pads) that it would be a waste of money buying a new set.

I don't think anyone X<50 years old will actually go buy that. And if will, only as a present to his grandparents. You can't show off to all yer mates by getting a 100% on 'Imagine' that kind of thing would make you loose friends...

Based on this thread the game will sell absolutely terrible. A lot of 'Wont buy it' replies.

As for myself: I won't buy it. I don't like the Beatles enough to waste money on it. Then again I'll never buy any of the music games.

I didn't include a "not buying" option on the poll because I was interested in seeing how people were going to buy the game if they decided to.

From what I saw during the E3 coverage this year they are definitely going to sell individual instruments, because the box set only comes with the Höfner bass controller. The Gretsch and Rickenbacker guitar controllers will be sold separately.

As much as I'd love all the new instruments, I'll probably only be able to afford the game.
