I just don't fit in a single bed - I'm 6'1 or thereabouts, so my feet stick out the end and get cold. Here at Uni anyway.

Got a double at home, and will do next year in my house for uni. Much better - I can stretch out when I'm alone, and I don't crush my girlfriend if I'm not (we can sleep in a single, but it's a bit cramped and is a pain sometimes, particularly with the arms).

Therefore a double bed at least.

Although the comfiest bed I've ever slept in was the smaller-than-single, wire-and-metal framed, 2" thick foam mattress bed in army barracks. I don't know if my perception was changed because we were so knackered, but you lay down and it just sucked you in and you fell asleep really, really quickly. And got a good night's sleep too.

A king, but i share it with my fiance so its like half a King.

While we are on the subject is a single different from a twin? When i was younger me and my brother both had single beds and i was told they are only a twin if you slid them together.

Is a twin just a mattress partitioned in half?

You know, it's funny, we got two beds for my house a couple years back, a Twin and when I assume is a King or a Queen, and my sister, having a room roughly half the size of mine, gets the larger bed. It takes up a good 20-25% of the room, while my twin takes up less than 15% of mine. Her bed is damn near falling apart though, so I'm actually glad I got the smaller, more reliable one.

I have a bed, which is roughly the size of a double. However, one big difference is that it is crafted entirely of a special kind of memory foam. Extremely comfortable, with additional space to move. Only thing I need now is a memory foam pillow, maybe some memory foam insulated blankets to complete the ensemble XD.

Full.

Got myself a new bed once I got my own place- not just because I'm 6'4" but also for the ladies.
It is a crucial part of decision making

I have a king size round bed. Worship me.
Is it a waterbed? Because I refuse to worship any man until they have a waterbed.

You have now given me motivation to burglarize your home! Expect a brick through a window at 3 in the morning!

On topic, I have a Queen. Very low to the ground though, maybe a foot and a half above the floor with the mattress.

I have a full bed, but in a few months my sleeping arrangements are going to become significantly smaller...

As in, 'military cot' size. Gah, the things one must do for their country!

*ahem*
Water beds are shit. I have a solid 8 inch latex core at a 26 soft. (forgive the mattress lingo, my parents owned a mattress company, ask me anything.) Anyways, its the shit and it feels like the pillowy bosom of Katy Perry.

So i don't care if you worship me or not. I. Still. Win.

Queen FTW!

Of course, having a large room and well-off parents helps with owning one. Hell, I must have had it for like 10 years, though. Still love the thing.

Memory foam full bed. Memory foam pillow, too. I love it. So comfy. And my bedframe is made of grey-painted steel, in a modern, edged design. I like it, but it can be creeky if I move around...

Hmmm... lemme see...

King sized bed
-width 76"
-length. 80"

Current room dimensions
-width 90"
-length ~130"

Don't think a king sized bed is practical in student accommodation.

I have a single sized bed. And no, I don't mean a twin. I mean an actual single side bed. You can;t roll over on it without falling face first to the ground.
