1. AC/DC

- Def Leppard
- White Snake
- Robots In Disguise
- Queen

so mostly rock thanks to the kick ass atmosphere at concerts you just can't beat. not saying other genre's suck, loves me a bit of Electro, Pop , Rap and even Country from time to time and those gigs are good too but nothing beats AC/DC at Hampden. Pure magic!

The Beatles, Cake, and Oasis.

Why is the poll completely different from the title?
Because I'm just that awesome
That makes no sense.
It makes several sense
Not with that kind of grammar.
Hey, my grammar is several flawless
Daah, the irony! It burns!
Haha you know my grammar isn't actually that bad right? Please tell me you do

Can we have an alternative category for your Queens Of The Stone Age / Placebo stuff?
Referencing Placebo in passing posts, +50 Approval Points. You're doing well.

OT: Probably:

1 - Placebo
2 - The Smiths
3 - The Libertines
4 - Little Man Tate
5 - Bombay Bicycle Club

Lot of metal fans on the Escapist, eh?

My top band would have to be Little Man Tate, though Placebo are definitely my favourite, Little Man Tate have come far from their first album and had advanced significantly this year before disbanding, and even that was good, because at least they knew when to stop.

Is there really a genre called "emo"?

I'm sure they were called goths, emo is way funnier though.

Emo = emotional cripple, "I can only make friends by sulking and getting people to feel sorry for me."

Thats the one, the "aww paw ikkle woo" wannabes.

Pink Floyd
Radiohead
Smashing Pumpkins
The Beatles

As for favorite genre, I'm more of a Progressive Rock fan, myself. Stuff like Rush, Dream Theater, etc...

We should have a badge for that sort of thing.
"Brian Molko - Mentioned Placebo 10 times on The Escapist."
The picture could be him eating an apple or something equally inconspicuous.
It'd be a pretty rare badge, for sure.

Brian Molko can't be inconspicuous, it's physically and mentally impossible for him. Believe me, I saw him in concert, you could've seen him from Kilimanjaro.

I don't know what I like. I'm just meandering through different genres, not finding anything great, but appreciating alot of it.
