Chocolate chip, the rest of you are heathens...
Specifically, the chocolate chip cookies they made at the summer camp I work for.
My God....

My favorite cookies are oreos. When I first saw this thread, me coming from the southern part of the United States thought this was a "biscuit" thread. In the south these are what we call biscuits

Indeed. Toss some blackberry jelly on those puppies, and you got yourself a breakfast.

Anyway, I really have nothing to add to this thread, as I'm not sure what constitutes a "biscuit" in that crazy little world across the pond.

Here's another picture of real biscuits.

I'm not much of a biscuit eater, but I do enjoy preparing biscuits for my friends. The very best one is what is commonly known as a soggy biscuit. It's always fun to give some of that to my beloved friends
For those who didn't get it either, learn from my mistake and do not google it.
damn it! you saying that only piqued my curiosity >.< and i searched it on google images (sobs in corner) WHY LIMPBIZKIT?! WHY IS YOUR NAME RELATED TO SOMETHING SO DISGUSTING!!!!???!

These be cookies, not biscuits... The best biscuit is, without a doubt, the ones you get at KFC.
To clarify biscuits in Australia and Briton are what Americans call cookies. What Americans call biscuit is translated to soggy lump of yorkshire pudding in dubious gravy.

Cookies generally refer to sweeter varieties of biscuits; a word which can also describe savory items like Crackers and Saos.

Personally, Tim Tams are the best things ever. First of all, it's actually TWO biscuits, mooshed together, and covered in chocolate. And second of all, they make excellent Hot beverage straws.
To answer the OP I choose the mighty never-ending packet of Tim Tams =D>
Although I'm saddened that the even mightier ANZAC biscuit failed a mention :-(>
Successful troll is (kinda) successful XD.
I was unaware I was Trolling. Forgive me if my attempt at clarifying the subject insulted you in some way. I am to understand now that my description of what you Yankie types refer to as biscuit is different than what was described to me, and for that I appologise.

As for everything else, it is what it is.

Bourbons are the best biscuit- chocolate-y, but not overpoweringly so.

Incidentally though, you're eating Tim Tams wrong if you're using them for hot beverage straws- try a liquer instead. I like them with port, brandy or Tia Maria XD

I don't know who Nanna is, but I love shortbread cookies ('Merican here). Ever had them from Panera Bread? So much buttery goodness the little paper holding it gets all greased up from it. A chewy oatmeal-raisin is heavenly as is peanut butter chocolate chip as is.... damn I'm hungry for something incredibly non-nutritious.

Are those bread rolls? They probably aren't, but it looks like bread.
OT: Oreos! I love them so much! Followed closely by tim tams.

The only thing I've ever heard of out of those is an Oreo, and I dont know what the British equivalent to a biscuit is (I wanna say its a cookie).

So I'll go with an Oreo. they're awesome on their own, but when you fry them, they become god's gift to man.

It is indeed bread.
2 cups self rising flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 1/2 cups buttermilk

1 Melted butter (about 1/4 cup)|Stir together the flour, baking powder & 10 x sugar.
2 Cut in the shortening until pieces are about the size of grains of rice. Stir in the buttermilk.
3 Knead a few times, roll out on a floured board or counter top to 3/4inch. thickness.
4 Be careful not to work dough too much or add too much flour, or you'll have dry biscuits. Cut with an oversized biscuit cutter (about 3 inches).
5 Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake about 12 minutes in a preheated 450 degree oven.
