Poll: Best Call of Duty Series

The best COD series has to be Black Ops, mainly because it is the most uniqe and it has more of a story than any other one. Now if you are watching or watched the Blsck Ops 2 Gameplay yu should know that it is completely freakin sweet. Now the most dissapointing one has to be Modern Warefare. Just because of Mordern Warfare 2 and 3 were just sooo disapointing. Why you ask, it is just because the gameplay. Like just what happened to Soap and stuff, and just what happened at the start of the game. I think that they went a little overboard. And at the start of Modern Warfare 3 why did it have to be in New York City?

I'd vote for Black Ops as the worst, not the best. The multiplayer was the biggest train wreck of awfulness that I have ever played online.

Modern Warfare is the best, even though MW3 sucked too. CoD4 alone makes the MW series easily the best.

CoD 2 had the best gameplay for me, simple though it was. I despised Black Ops story, it was just so very unashamedly AMERICUH FUCK YUH! And it had the potential for a great subtle ending as well. Well, subtlish.

The only one that I really enjoyed, with the best level structure and set pieces was the first Modern Warfare.

The first level on the boat with the SAS? When it starts sinking and your tearing out of the thing like your life depends on it. Awesome stuff

Oo COD1 without a doubt, it was incredibly fun to play, was pc only, wasn't ruined with awful perks and kill streaks, the guns had recoil.. what more can I say? COD:UO is the best cod game. MW2 is the worst

I thought it was pretty obvious that they should have stopped after World War II. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had just made a new I.P. for the Modern Warfare series, but alas, they had to slap that brand on there and ruin things forever...

2007: Call of Duty: MW
2008: Call of Duty: WaW
2009: Call of Duty: MW2
2010: Call of Duty: Blops
2011 to now: Call of Duty: MW3
November 2012-November 2013: Call of Duty Blops2
etc. etc.
November 2043-November 2044: Call of Duty: Time Traveling Future Space Warfare 7

If you couldn't pick up the pattern, I play the current one. I play for multi-player and the newest one is going to be where that takes place. MW3 felt like one step forward and two steps back but it's still the one I'm going to play because it's the one my buddies are playing.

*Obviously my list is the series in it's modern form. I have played each Call of Duty (including those spin-offs like "Big Red One") but am limiting my "favorite" to the current ones because I get way more time out of them then the old editions; I didn't play multi-player until the MW series.

Now. For the real argument. Which is the best Halo game ever?

Halo 1. Totally Halo 1. So much fun, in SP, MP, Co-op. Still play it to this day on my original Xbox. For my birthday party this year, I hooked my 2 old Xboxes up and had some old fashioned LAN gaming. No silly leveling up, nothing like that, just a mad rush for the rocket launcher at the top of Battle (or Beaver?) Creek.


OT: I really enjoyed the story in World at War. Not the American one though, I loved playing the Russian one.

Black Ops is my favourite

The problems in Black Ops multiplayer include (but not limited to)
Poor weapon balance (only a couple of assault rifles are worth using same for SMGs)
Poor connection quality (on PS3 mostly)
A couple of perks aren't balanced. (I don't have a problem with Ghost but that's just me)

What Black Ops did right and I love them for (My opinion)
Quickscopers aren't as irritating or as obnoxious in Black Ops
It has a lot to do with your connection (I have a good connection a lot of the time )
I'm good at it (2.21 k/d ratio)
The maps suit to my playstyle


My least favourite: (I haven't played CoD 1 or 2)
Mw3 (closely followed by mw1)
Mw3 tailors to noobs.
Revenge spawns drive me insane.
huge hit boxes when other players use sniper rifles (quickscopers)
Death Streaks (are back) Dead Man's Pocket-Fucking-Nuke

Mw2 Problems
Boosting like no fucking tomorrow

Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4 are the only quality games. And they kick major ass.
The others are all pretty awful.

Call of Duty 4 is incredible. But the Modern Warfare series as a whole sucks giant balls.

Also, OP, you forgot CoD 3.

I voted for Call of Duty 2, because it's the best World War II game I've ever played to this day.

I enjoyed Black Ops multiplayer the most and its single player design. MW had the best story, MW3 is worst CoD ever made.
