Poll: Best Call of Duty Series

You realise that critically all of Call of Duty games since CoD4 have been met with nigh universal critical acclaim? I mean, I'm not saying its deserved, but you are saying that virtually every single game critic alive is just flat out incorrect seems a bit silly...

Only the 'official' game critics have met the game with high critical acclaim. Metacritic officials, ign, gamespot, etc. Those are the ones that give it high scores. And to me, none of them are trustworthy since they're all bought by the game companies. Not directly bought as in 'here's X amount of money to give a good review' but definitely bought indirectly.

But then... what critics are you even referring to? Besides silly ones like Yahtzee, basically all critics accept that although not innovative, the games are always very well made, polished and balanced, even if they are ludicrous.

Just what critics DO you consider to be "trustworthy"?

The Soviet parts of World at War were great. COD1 + expansions was great, COD2 was great.

For me it's WaW. It had a great campaign with good characters and the multiplayer was pretty good until the massive amount of hackers and people using Mp40s with juggernaut. It also introduced Zombies which is one of the funnest co-op modes I've played.
