How can you say g-mod is not a game when the pure point of the game is to make your own gaming experiment. You are such a fuckin ****. And lots of people have already forgot about farcry 2.

i haven't played any of those games, so i'm gonna say ...

heavy metal: FAKK2. the menu music sucked and the game was hard as hell, but it was fun and very beautifully designed.

i haven't played it in a few years, so this may be pure nostalgia

System Shock 2.

It released a little while after Half Life 1 and the entire gaming community was too busy masturbating to go out and buy a better game.

Stalker seems an anomaly on the list, I know more people who own the first one than people who don't.

Killer 7
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Beach Spikers (gameplay over sex appeal: the anti-DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball)
Indigo Prophecy
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

I vow to someday play Psychonauts and Fallout. I've just heard too many good things.

The hell is Psychonaughts? Naughty psychoes?

Beyond Good and Evil, actually. You should be ashamed there's no such option in the poll.

I thought Red Faction was popular and sold well? It had a relatively high-profile sequel and everything (even though said sequel pretty much killed it). Edit: Wasn't a sequel supposed to come out soon?

You know, one series that doesn't get much love is Armored Core. The learning curve and anime robots are pretty big barriers, but I thought the gameplay was pretty sophisticated; there aren't many games with a deep planning phase anymore, and almost none that do it quite like this series.

If I had to pick from the list, though, it would be STALKER.

Psychonauts.

Hmm... actually, is it too late to say Anything with the word "Viewtiful" in it? Those are pretty old now, but still, totally undersold. Hmm, Okami as well. Come to think of it, did they ever make anything that got the sales it deserved?

Psychonauts, hands down. Though I will say that COR: Butcher Bay was surprisingly well made. A game I'd add to the list is Spartan: Total Warrior. Don't know if anyone here has played it, but it's really a great game.

Dues Ex.. Like so many people missed it and most people didnt even take any note of the sequel (although it wasnt that good).

Dead Space really only people in the know have played it. I know I didnt hear of it until after it was released.

Most JRPGs. ie. Valkyria Chronicles.
All of this.
