I can't believe Young Frankenstein doesn't have more votes! Men in Tights and High Anxiety (parody of Hitchcockian thriller) are very close contenders.
This has to be the hardest poll I've ever voted on . . . I'm not kidding! They are all amazing! Seriously has Mel ever made a bad movie??
Since I had to pick I picked Spaceballs, cause I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and enjoy seeing it tastefully spoofed. . . Men In Tights was a close second
They are all great, but i am leaning towards robin hood, due to a better flow in the story.
but blazing saddles and spaceballs is very close behind.... and they ALL have epic comic moments in them, that is an amazing feat of mr Brooks.
I'll say The Producers cause it was the first Mel brooks film I saw. Then Young Frankstein and Blazing Saddles.
He rode a blazing saddle, he wore a shining star...
Probably one of the stupiest intro songs in a movie sang by Frankie Laine, that got tricked by Mel Brooks into thinking Blazing Saddles was a serious western movie...Hence why all the devotion and passion into the song.
