Devil is a part-timer, because it is everything I want from an anime. It has a ridiculous and intriguing premise, great jokes, good plot, good art, good action, and absolutely amazing characters. Samurai Flamenco was also good.

Attack on Titan is my favorite by far. Loved that show. Unique premise and great animation. Enjoyable story as well, which combination of over the top action and dramatic suspense reminded me a lot of old school anime. Second would be Log Horizon. Another show I found really enjoyable(and I don't even like MMOs 
). Most other anime this year didn't really capture my interest. I really wanted to like Kakumeiki Valvrave b/c the show's synopsis sounds interesting to me but just couldn't get into it at all.
