Now,I have a special place in my heart for George A. Romero. He's the one who revolutionized the zombie formula with 3D characters,a dark sense of humor and a feeling of crushing despair that your favorite character might not live to see the sun rise. This washed away those camp overacted zombie films, which we are all glad to be rid of,unless it's Planet Terror, possibly one of the most bad ass movies of all time.

So,I ask you, escapist, what is your favorite George Romero Zombie movie?

Out of George A. Romero's stuff I think Night Of The Living Dead is the best. The ending in particular is pure brilliance, which I won't describe here, not even in a spoiler, because I'm not that type of lower life form who feels the need to go around spoiling endings for people. Just see it.

I thought the remake of Dawn was better than Romero's original.

It's a zombie film. They're not characters, they're FOOD.

Shaun of the Dead. It really knows how serious to take the entire genre.

I loved the Dawn of the Dead remake, I thought that was probably the most likely zombie apocalypse situation...for the most part.
