Dammit I'm the only one to go for Day of the Dead?? It was the last of what I consider 'the great trilogy', and had some of the most edgy scenes and splashiest gore out of them all! Yes it was much harsher and more depressing than the first two but I guess I like that. Plus it's Romero's favourite (according to wikipedia...)

I love Shaun of the Dead. But it's a brilliant spoof rather than a brilliant original film. And Land of the Dead... was ok

I was between Shaun and Diary of the Dead.

The only reason "Diary" was even a contender was because of a mute man who blows up some zomies with a stick on dynamite, then introduces himself by writing his name on a mini chalkboard. (No, I did not make that up.)

I'm horribly sorry for saying this and wish that I could say otherwise, but the only 2 I've seen are Night of the Living Dead and Shaun of the Dead which are so insanely different that it's impossible to compare.

Zombieland was up there with Shaun of the Dead. No joke. See it, you will not be disappointed.

He's the one who revolutionized the zombie formula with 3D characters,a dark sense of humor and a feeling of crushing despair that your favorite character might not live to see the sun rise. This washed away those camp overacted zombie films,which we are all glad to be rid of,unless it's Planet Terror,possibly one of the most bad ass movies of all time.

So,I ask you,escapist,what is your favorite George Romero Zombie movie?

Shaun of the dead is a GREAT movie, but shouldnt be on here. it isnt the same style as the others.THats like asking youre favorite star wars movie and putting spaceballs as an option. My vote goes to dawn of the dead, easily.
