Poll: Best PS2 Franchise

Well, most of the good series are going to the Ps3. If the designers feel the game was good, and the fans want more, they're unlikely to just leave it. Only Persona is staying in the Ps2.

Which sadly isn't a PS2 franchise. Otherwise that would have received my vote.

Back to Persona 4!

I've always loved the Jak and Daxter series. The first one was by far the best gameplay wise. Jak II is where the awesome story starts. The Sly Cooper series comes in very close second. The first game was a classic platformer-stealth-game. 2 and 3 were more action oriented, but also introduced many more gadgets and unlockable moves that made them very good stealth games too.

i always liked the dbz budokai series and loved the digital devil series.

The franchise could go to the PS3, but it has to be primarily based on the PS2 or it could have started on the PS1 and continued on to the PS2.

even if i had other options it would still be between j&d and r&c.

r&c has the best gameplay and funny and charming stories, but from jak II onwards the story was actually... you know... good. a rarity for a game.

my favourite game of the 2 series' is jak II, but it was head and shoulders above the first and 3rd installments. on the other hand, all the r&c games (gladiator aside) were consistently excellent. so for me, r&c is the best series.

R&C, even if the final boss fights are overly cheap.
