Poll: Best reason to get a PS3

Being as it is, I can't use XNA. And XBLA might as well go jump off a cliff with most of its titles just being ports from other games.

Both still have great games. While some are ports (Sonic) there are other games that are improved like PAC-MAN World Championship or Prince of Persia and there are original games like Braid.

But most of them are straight ports. Heck atleast when the guy release a game on PSN that was free on the internet he introduced new levels. Also. Microsatan loves screwing people out of their money with the fucking microsatan point shit.

I hate these double posts.

Ok, I've been asleep, so I'm going to recap.

People said LittleBigPlanet is like Playdoh, but its more like Lego. That might sound like bickering, but hear me out. The game itself seems to have some pre-set objects with their own properties that can actively change things.

Apparently, the Halo equivalent of Half Life: Blue Shift (Show me one reason why its not) is supposed to boost their sales in the same way Halo 3 did, despite it being purely fan service, and all fans having already bought a 360.

Among the 360's exclusives for next year is Mass Effect 2. Now, I don't want to sound annoying, but heres what we know.
-the 360 has been losing sequels left and right (Condemned 2, Saints Row 2, Dead Rising 2 according to all interviews)
-EA are massive money grubbing whores who will not pass up the chance to appeal to a new market if it is possible.
-EA are the publishers of Mass Effect 2.

And the ps3 has a strong backing of exclusives. 5-10 or so big name titles just for next year..

Hmm, i put HD gaming one but this is not my belief. It is give and take with the best HD gaming, but may i point out that while some xbox 'exclusives' may end up on PC, this never occurs (as far as i know) from PS3 to PC. So if you want to have true exclusives the PS3 is the way to go. Bit annoyed gears 2 didnt end up on PC but hey ho we push on.

I find the "HD gaming at its best" option hilarious.

That may somewhat explain it, but I would still like the OP to explain why he put that option in the poll...

Because people find a convinient source of HD displays to watch Blu-Ray movies with their buddies right out of the box more appealing than doing research for 1080p+ HD PC gaming that is pretty much a niche for most games and only available to one person at a time because they had enough money to upgrade to 1080p+ but their friend didn't and now their friend is going to start mooching off of your PC/Blu-ray player but you're sick of his mooching?

I dunno, I always thought that people like easy to use sort of stuff that's right ouf of the box, no matter if that COD game is actually 720p or if that Pearl Harbor movie in Blu-ray is actually upscaled to 1080p (whatever that means) (also, the explosions were pretty)

But HOLD ON THERE COWBOY! We're starting a flame-war, which was inevitable anyway.

I probably meant that as more of a media device, that and I thought Blu-ray could play HD? (or so we're TOLD!!)
