I think that you should not have made a poll, and just asked peoples opinions. I would say the best is Oblivion, then Fallout 3, then Assassins Creed. I am only talking about current get consoles.

Your lack of Fallout 3, disturbs me.
Honestly that game is just P.L.A (pure liquid awesome), most immersive, awe inspiring game I've ever played. Check it out if you haven't already done so.
I've played Fallout 3, and from my point of view, it seems pretty bland and repetitive. Especially the V.A.T.S system. Oh sure, it's fun the first times, but it's boring to entrust yourself with the same strategy over and over again. It came close to my vision of a good FPS/RPG, and I welcomed it with open arms, but then I noticed how it was too close to Oblivion, and I walked away and played something less repetitive.
In my opinion, the game was everything that Oblivion should have been, plus sci fi, so that makes it a win in my book, but I can see why some wouldn't like it. The poll needs more options.

Try the game, you will be proved wrong. It is similar to Oblivion in a good way, but not in every way, VATS does not get repetitive, it is just a fantastic game.

Too many Wii games.

Where's DoW 2?

Where's Starcraft?

Where are BETTER games than Mirror's Edge or Halo Wars, because both are crap and average, respectively.

*gasp* He speaks heresy! He shall be drawn and quartered! Meh, to each their own, I've played it for about 150 hours and have yet to tire of it.

Read title... Note that these are somewhat alternative games I'd like to hear opinions on (since I haven't heard much of them), I'm not holding a competition for best games ever. Just want to know which are good.
Here's what people are missing. The big mainstream titles are already covered, we'll assume; that's why the list has entries such as No More Heroes and Crackdown. That's why I didn't pick Fallout 3 or something similar.

Try Stranglehold. It's silly, oh so silly.
The assumption is that his bases are covered on the base titles and he's looking further afield, so I recommended a title that takes bullet-time mechanics differently from most games (automatic firing when it will "look most cool" :B) and is a combo-based shooter with a cover system, environmental damage, and legions of enemies. Did I mention the "spin around firing weapon while inexplicable doves rise from the ground" attack? Or the "take a precise shot which follows the bullet into face/groin/knee" attack? There's also an ability to enter a berserker mode which makes the controls alter, gives infinite bullets for the duration, and removes the need to reload (so basically, BULLET SPAM).

My favorite game of all time is Zelda:Ocarina of Time. While a lot of the new games are great, I don't think that one will ever be passed as number one on my list

Out of all those games, I've only played the demo of Mirror's Edge..

But my vote has to go to Shadow of the Colossus- because you should *not* play this game with another person watching. Just you, Wander, Agro, and a lot o' mountains.

Crackdown, it's also multiplayer, as in co-op for two players. WIN!
Is it playable on splitscreen? From what I've seen is it only playable through Live and System Link.
