It's harmless to kill after the game ends because the scores have been finalized and nothing productive can possibly be achieved in the 2.5 seconds after the game ends.

It's NOT harmless to boot someone for it because it costs them credits.
Again this is your personal opinion what you are forgetting is that the person you are shooting at the end of the game is not you and as such they have different opinions maybe they think it isn't harmless maybe they think you deserve to get booted who knows until you decide to shoot them? not everyone is going to go into a game with the same mindset again if you don't want to get booted don't shoot at them then your risk free simple.

And really you completely disregard the fact that the person booted made a decision knowing it could glitch and they could get booted to take the risk of getting booted for no productive reason and if it happens it's their own fault if they think it's unfair or not, they took the risk of their own free will no one forced them.
Alright, show me it from their eyes, how does it "harm" them
Thats a very poor question to ask as how am I meant to show you exactly what someone else is feeling or thinking? Also it's pretty obvious that even if I tried you would dismiss it because it's not what you want to hear as you have been doing so by ignoring the other points I made about the person taking the shot making a conscious choice to do so even knowing they risk a booting.

While you are saying this is harmless fun and refusing to accept other people might not see it in the same way, it's like saying that their opinion doesn't matter as long as you get to have your 'harmless fun' at the end that they might not agree with of the game and no one ruins it by doing something you don't agree with, which really is kind of selfish.

So really to sum this up tl:dr to anyone else.

The person taking the shot is taking a chance there is always the possibility they can get booted. However they take the shot anyway knowing the risk if they do get booted it's because of their choice to take the chance and you can't really blame anyone else.

Remember if you do decide to shoot at someone at the end of a round it's still a random person on the internet with different idea's and opinions to your own what you may see as normal and fun they might not and may find annoying so there is always a chance they might get annoyed and kick you from a game for betraying at the end of a match, if you still feel like shooting them then the risk and consequences are yours alone.

Safest option just don't shoot at them and you can't possibly be booted.

its simple screw with me, i boot

it was an accident?? i dont

i mean obviously the guy from across the map firing a sniper at the enemy infront of me and clipping me instead is an accident, the guy who just kicked me in the back after takin one specilly good weapon or vehicle is a jerk.

Oh for Christ's sake, if you really feel this way, you should be able to give me a single reason why it might annoy someone.

Seriously, a SINGLE reason someone would find this harmful, I get people's opinions are different, but the definition of "harm" hasn't changed recently, the closest definition for harm I can find that MIGHT pertain to this situation is:

"the act of damaging something or someone"

And I still can't find a situation that it applies.

If you want to post walls of text telling me that people find it annoying, it's common sense that you should have a single reason why.

My opinion is that people boot for post game kills because they just like to exercise the power over other people, it's a similar motivation to trolling in my opinion.

And your view is.....? What? That people are too complex for any of us to ever understand the motivations of an action performed by anyone who is not us? That's ridiculous, could you imagine if everyone operated this way? Nobody would ever be convicted in court because everyone would just declare that finding a motive for anything was hopeless since we can't possibly ever understand the opinions or feelings behind any action whatsoever.

I get that the person is taking a chance by killing after the game ends, that is not relevant in any way to the discussion, I'm talking about why people boot for it, what reason do they have? I get they have different opinions, give me an example of one, because at this point I've provided my reasoning for why I believe they do it, and you've simply been repeated "they are not you, don't try to understand anything they do" like a freaking parrot.

I know I'm coming off as kind of rude, but my god this is getting frustrating. Examples, Evidence, Opinion. Provide ONE of these things to back up your argument, it's absolutely impossible to have a discussion of different viewpoints without any of those three elements whatsoever.

Yes they take a chance, just like you take a chance that some jackass will punch you in the face when you say "hi" to them, but if they did punch you in the face for that, wouldn't you say "why did you do that"? Or would you just walk away without trying to understand why he punched you, and say to yourself "gee, he must have a difference opinion than me, I probably deserved it and won't bother to try to understand it, instead I better just not say hello to anyone else ever"

Of course I don't boot them if they kill me by accident.
Hell, I don't even boot them if they do it on purpose.
Of course, if they team-kill me and then tea-bag, then I will boot them.
