Who is the better movie director?

The tale of the tape:

Christopher Nolan: Age 40

Movies: Following, Memento, Insomia, Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception

Awards: Inception was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. Inception won a Golden Globe for Best Director.

World Box Office gross for his films around $2.5B

David Fincher: Age 48

Movies: Aliens 3, Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Social Network

Awards: Benjamin Button and Social Network nominated for an Academy Best Director Award (Fincher). Fincher won a Golden Globe Director award for Social Network.

World Box Office gross - around $1.5B

I'll give my opinion later on.

My vote will have to go for the C to the N... I liked more of his movies than i did the *ahem* "other guy's". The only movie by Fincher I really liked was Se7en, creepy damn movie that was... and I HAVE seen the others, didn't really enjoy them that much... NO! Don't hit me! It's personal preference, you wouldn't understand Oo.

Christopher Nolan is the best director of all time, but then again that's just my opinion.

David Fincher is good, but not that good.

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?
Chris Nolan is the best director in Hollywood. Bar none...

I'm currently on a quest to see FOLLOWING (It's the last of his movies that I haven't seen and I cant seem to find it anywhere)

Momento was absolute insanity, and Inception was one hell of a ride. (Unlike the rest of the movies in 2010)... :(

Christopher Nolan has a stream of fantastic, wonderful movies, as well as my personal favorite movie of all time, The Prestige.

Fincher has a shit ton of awesome movies, namely, Se7en and Fight Club. But all that is negated but the utter travesty that was Aliens 3.

Go Nolan!

If I absolutely had to pick, I'd say Nolan. I love Se7en but the rest of Fincher's films I can do without.
