Has anyone ever had a moment in a game where you just paused it, froze and thought WTF?

Mine was when I was playing "Beautiful Katamari" and was only at a size of about 3 meters when something I rolled up caught my eye, I paused, looked on my list of objects and saw that I rolled up "God". About 2 minutes of silence later, I screamed "Did I just roll up GOD? you know GOD, The all-powerful creator of the universe?!?!, and why was he only the size of a normal human?"

So anyone else have a gaming experience that made you pause in stunned silence?
EDIT:
I'm sorry I meant left in stunned silence out of shear weirdness of something in the game. my bad.

When i first played through Halo3 with 3 mates on co-op, the last stage when you are driving towards the ship and make the jump, that was awesome ^^

Most games these days make me speechless out of their sheer:

A. Suckage
B. Clicheness
C. Awesomeness.

I have only ever encountered C once, in CoD4

Have said it before but I don't mind repeating it. The "Letz Shake" cutscene from No More Heroes left me with my jaw on the floor not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Seriously, no way they were sober in any way when they came up with it.

it was more of a "damn it not again" moment when Ashley from RE4 gets captured for like the eighth time. also, why did they have random stone straps on a wall, that was just retarded

What about Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, or Bioshock?

Anyway mine happened in L4D surprisingly but sadly this was a bad thing, one person was incapped and he was almost dead so we just ran in to the copter (This was No Mercy) and the Tank jumped in and killed everyone.

The thing that left me speechless about that cutscene was how he made the virtual boy look awesome (P.S. during the scene he was wearing a virtual boy on his head, look it up)

Resident Evil 4's regenerators. Those things crept me out real bad.
When it had no legs or head and started slithering towards me, if I had anything t say I couldn't out of sheer "do not want".

One of the biggest WTF moments I've ever seen in a game was during the 8-Bit side-scroller goody known as Cave Story, by Studio Pixel. It was near the end of the game where you fight a boss that kinda looks like the bastard child of a panzer tank and a giant spider that moves back and forth for a little while before hitting the brakes to fire what look like rocket-propelled fish heads at you. After you kill this thing (named in the credits as "Monster X"), it explodes and out of it flies a GIANT CAT. Yes. A giant cat.

My exact response was stunned silence followed by a resounding "WTF?"

Another great WTF moment was in Half-Life 2 when I encountered my first head crab zombie. After beating it to death with the crowbar, I aimed the crowbar at the head crab attached to the neck of the lifeless corpse. Due to the apparently odd physics of Half-Life 2 that determines that once something is dead it is apparently no longer squishy (provided it was squishy to begin with, like a head crab), when I started wailing on it with the crowbar again for good measure, I got the motion of hitting the corpse, the movement of the corpse's reaction to said bludgeoning, but the sound of hitting the solid metal floor.

I and my friends' response to this: "Titanium head crab!"

Things that were WTF moments to me...

Way too many in TF2 to count, but most of them come from getting spychecked with a crit rocket or some other thing that either kills me outright or wounds me so bad that a scout's wayward pistol shot winds up killing me.

A single survivor making it to the helicopter in the finale of No Mercy in L4D.

Generally, in games where I'm barely trying and start raking in kill after kill after kill, but struggle to get just one when I'm trying super hard.

The birth-abortion-baby eating scene at the end of Silent Hill 3.

If the idea doesn't leave you speechless, trying watching it.

The first time I toppled a the skyscrapers in Red Faction: Guerrilla... beauty in motion.

And when I killed my brother right after the game started and unlocked the coolest easter egg this side of Mars...

It was literally a 'WTF' moment from the devs.

I just did that today, and I burst out laughing. That was a fun boss.

I had a moment in my first run through Fallout3. I was exploring yet another subway tunnel intently. I was scavaging and looking for things and I turned around just as a Feral Ghoul was running up to slap me in the face. I was so startled. Not because it was particularly scary on it's own, but because I had been playing so intensely for several hours and had allow the games immersive nature completely overtake me. It was AWESOME!

I remember I had a L4D WTF moment in which everyone but my friend jumped off a platform. around that time my friend was attack by a tank, smoker, and bomber all at the same time and was put into into critical condition but somehow killed all of them with a pistol.
Co-op is fun!
