I am currently playing Bioshock2 for the third time, on hard difficulty. PLayed it two times on Normal.
I played Bioshock on Normal difficulty 3 times and on hard difficulty 2 times. Make that of what you will.

Bioshock 2 was good. It improved the hacking, gameplay and the weapon upgrades. But the story and the sensation of being in an underwater city Rapture cannot be emulated in this game.

It was okay. Fun gameplay. Decent story. Good setting (duh). No glaring flaws. Definitely worth playing.

But it's nowhere near as awesome as the first game.

I liked a Bioshock 2 actually. Not as much as I enjoyed the first game, but as far as sequels go it was pretty good.

I thought the gameplay and story was better in Bioshock 2, but I liked the atmosphere and "feel" of the first one. Both are quite good, but I'd say the first one is better by a small margin.

I liked it a lot, maybe even better than the first one. The story wasn't as good, but it was still great and the gameplay was even better. Give it a try. It's not a bad game at all.

I actually though it was pretty good. People will always complain but I enjoyed it and besides MORE Rapture, nothing beats that.

Alright, now I'm convinced; I must buy this game!

Goodbye food budget!
I found it for £12. Not sure what that is in euros but it really shouldn't cost you your food budget :p

It's one of the worst games I've ever played and I loved the original. It had no story to tell, the characters were lifeless and uninteresting, the locations and level design went beyond dreary and were just so......I can't say anything they were that.....UUURRGGGHHHHHH.

Many people felt that bioshock 2 was a considerably worse game from Bioshock 1.

I feel, however, that it's a far superior game, in both gameplay mechanics and plot. I actually finished it in a single fifteen hour long sitting, because I cared about the outcome so much more than I ever did with the first game, which didn't draw me in at all.
Thank you.

Bioshock 2 was superior in my opinion, and this is coming from someone who was very skeptical initially.

Its made of pure win! And if Bioshock 1 was what sold you on the 360, its definitly worth getting Bioshock 2..

Fire, electricity, ice and shotgun is a winning combination..

It didn't need to exist...

But I'm glad it did.

I hope Irrational played it, and will take a few cues from it's gameplay for Infinite.

I'm in two minds about it. On one hand I don't think Bioshock needed a sequel, however Bioshock 2 had tighter combat and some pretty cool characters. It never drew me in like the first one did though, a lot of the experience Bioshock gave was the sense of wonder at the different parts of Rapture and it's inhabitants, of course second time round this feeling was diminished a fair bit.

Eh, it was pretty good. I had plenty of fun with it. And the story was decent.

But of course it wasn't as good as the original.

I loved it WAY more than Bioshock 1.
I was actually immersed in the game (PLEASE PARDON THE PUN), although how I can me immersed while playing as a giant dude in a suit tazing and barbequeing people while churning out bullets constantly I still don't know.

The fact that I actually empathised and understood why the characters in the moral choice moments did what they did (Stanley Poole, Gil Alexander), and I loved it.

The weapons were better (apart from the drill, never used it, and I missed the wrench), especially the shotgun (come on, a dual-revolver shotgun mechanism? I LIKE IT!) and the enemies were really odd (brute splicers, I'm looking at YOU).

I loved the ending of it (I took the good ending, because it's one of the only games where I can't be an evil bastard) and I almost got emotional.

So, all in all, I thought it was better than the first, and still can't get why people are hating on it so much.

In terms of gameplay, they seemed to up their game, because they centred it around the idea of creating a perimeter and using traps, which worked quite well, and was satisfying when pulled off properly. The story, however, only diminished the impressiveness of Andrew Ryan, which really didn't need to be done.

I agree. It had no reason to exist other than to destroy the franchise. Im not buying Infinite. it looks like shit.

Infinte looked good until they released the gameplay demo. I didn't like the fact that the character had a voice and I hated the way that control was constantly taken away from you.

Yeah I saw that too it looked quite aggravating. And it just seems kinda like more of the same. Like, the scenery is different but the AI is exactly the same
