Bioshock is, no question, my favorite game EVER. Bioshock 2... less so. It was okay. Not horrible, but it didn't really need to exist. But Infinite looks to be retooling gameplay, as well as making the story unrelated, in an entirely new setting.

This is not only a preorder, but a collector's edition preorder. Cannot fucking wait.

Well, besides the truly horrible appalling "Games for Windows Live" idiocy that you have to put up with to even play the damn thing, the game was less fun than I thought a Ken Levine game could ever be. And that's from the ultimate System Shock fan. No good. No good at all.
BioShock 2 wasn't made by Levine's team, it was by a branch studio in the company that absorbed Irrational. In fact, he sometimes seems to bit a bit confused by BS2.

Already pre-ordered. Bioshock 1 is one of my favorite games of all time, and while Bioshock 2 was okay, it didn't live up to it's predecessor because the creators were too scared to do anything different or take chances in fear of messing up the whole thing.

Infinite has already got rid of that weight by being in a different setting altogether with different characters, and possibly not even in the same universe as the first two. However it's still far too early to make any claims yet, but I'm still really psyched to play it.

I follow this template: I rent the game, and if I anticipate renting it until I beat it to be cheaper than buying it I continue to rent it. If buying is the cheaper option I buy.

I REALLY need more info. The concept is awesome, and the trailer is top notch. However, the gameplay example was so ridiculously on-rails that it really bugged me. I'm definitely going to wait for more info on the gameplay before I dedicate my moneys towards it.

I actually complete forgetting about Bioshock Infinite. I would have thought Skyrim or Deus Ex would be more anticipated.

Eh, I'm not really all that excited about it. I loved Bioshock, but TBH I was kinda disappointed with Bioshock 2. And Bioshock Infinite looks very pretty, but I'm not really sure about it. Besides, it's just so... American. Not that I have anything against America as such, it's just Bioshock Infinite appears to rely a lot on all this Americana in it's setting (and Irrational made a big thing out of this point in their podcast), and that just doesn't mean a whole lot to non-Americans.
It feels like it's going to be an extremely American game, so I'm going to wait til it's been out a while and I can get other people's impressions before I decide whether it's worth buying.

I know my husband will, and I'll watch him play - just like last time. I didn't really enjoy playing the Bioshock games myself, but for some reason I enjoyed watching him play it.

So,..I guess you can say I like to watch.

Most likely, yes, I will purchase it after hearing about it from reviews and opinions from friends, reviewers, etc.

It's worth my attention for now.
