Remember that episode of 30 rock where Liz Lemon kinda sorta steals a small child 'cause of her overwhelming mothering instinct?
Well, that feeling, albeit to a lesser degree, makes me find them lovable 'cause I want to help the poor things...

Also, I want a Big Daddy. I dun wanna go around with a sea slug in me, processing other people's blood, but I'd sure love to run around with Mr. Bubbles in tow.

I thought they were cute, that's why I didn't have the heart to harvest them.

Although, I did feel sorry for them whenever I killed the Big Daddy
"Mr. B, what's wrong with you Mr. B?"
Yeah, me too.

EDIT:

I found them oddly cute and endearing, yes creepy in essence but there was an unmistakeable charm in watching this little girl walking hand in hand with a giant metal behemoth.
Yeah, I know what you mean.

I found them extremely cute, to be honest. I am with the flood of lolicon/pedophilia afterwards though: now that was really creepy.

Generally speaking, creepy. While they maintained the most obvious traits of being a little girl, their minute appearances and actions reveal them to be nothing but twisted shadows of their former selves. That isn't to say they were scary or worrying - they were simply inhuman. Interestingly, I found it most disturbing when these monsters actually acted like little girls, seemingly unaware of the cruel joke being played at their expense.

I don't get how you can have 7 poll options, including 'neither' and yet not have 'both'.

That's what they are in my opinion.

I think they were rather cute, mainly due to the dialog. "Come on Mr. Bubbles!" and "I know he'll be an angel soon." They were just little kids, horrific, mutated, soul stealing kids, but kids none-the-less. I never found the creepy, really nothing in Bioshock was creepy with the possible exception of Cohen, but the little sisters and the big daddys were the least creepy. Still, the big daddy's and little sisters were just cute. They were just going about doing their thing, minding their own business.

They creeped me out a fair bit, especially when you grabbed them and starting kicking off at you. Some bits made me feel bad though, like when you kill their Big Daddy and they cower in a corner. They were the best representation of sea slug-possessed kids I ever saw.

The first ones were creepy. but the new ones look more human and less creepy. Since were going to be traveling with them. I'm assuming they wanted to make them look more friendly.

I agree

Creepy. Little kids in any horror game= creepy. I think the ones in BioShock 2 look more cute is because your looking at them through Big Daddy's eyes.

Why not have a tickbox for creepy and cute?

While the eyes and voice were disconcerting, they reminded me of my little sister when she was younger and trying to wheedle something out of my parents with a cutesy act.

They were creapy in a very inhuman way. They talked like kids, looked like kids (from afar) and even acted like kids (skipping around and such).

But they were not little kids, what they were was out of place as if they were not suppost to be there. Even when viewed out of context they look and sound creapy, glowing eyes and a eco voice? Super.

The new ones are less creapy, but still creapy.

The Little Sisters are downright frightening. Ah, gotta love the horror genre for giving us horrific little girls that make me have panic attacks... (I swear, I'm NEVER having kids...)
Prey is a fun game.
Also, they were kids, which adds to the creepy atmosphere of the game. I wish I could have shot them...
