Poll: Bioware Confirmes Changes to ME3 Ending on the way.

Exactly what the tittle says, on twitter today Bioware confirmed changes or possibly an alternate ending is on the way.

Honestly I'm not surprised in the slightest. After hearing that the ending was the creation of solely Walters and Hudsen, with zero input form the rest of the writing team despite the fact that it had been a collaborative effort I knew this was coming. I really hope Hudsen looses his job for all of this, what a complete dick move on his part. What's even worse is all of Bioware faces the blame for his stupid selfish choice.

I don't hate Walters though, he's a good character writer and I feel kinda bad they suddenly made him lead writer when he was clearly under qualified. I mean he did write Garrus :/

I see nothing about a new ending. It is a stretch to say they are confirming that.

Bioware never confirmed a new ME3 ending, they said they'd just explain the current one better.

From what I read from the link, it says that they are adding closure. That doesn't necessarily mean they are going to completely change the ending.

Still though, this is good news. If I can just find out about what happens to the galaxy based on my choices, then I can accept the ending we have now.

I was hoping for the indoctrination theory. Well, if we're gonna be specific, this new "closure" could be that since they never said they were actually changing the ending. One can hope.

if the whole game was crap, hell the whole series, the ending wouldn't bug me in the slightest, but when all three games were amazing, and for the past 5 years i've been waiting for that epic conclusion to tie up MY shephard, then hell yeah I want a better conclusion. I mean really bioware after 95% of the game being pretty damn good, how could you NOT think that fans wouldn't bite you in the ass about this?

Until I actually see this "closure", I'm still very skeptical.

As expected, they are not "changing it" so much as "fixing it", which is about the most anyone could REASONABLY demand, even if we might've wished for more.

It's like if the ending they gave us was oatmeal. Maybe you don't like oatmeal very much. But it's still going to be more palatable when it's not full of dead bugs and broken glass.

Like Jim said, it's really a testament to Bioware if you think about it.

So many fans love the universe they've created, the characters we've interacted with, the decision we've made that will effect the universe, then when the end doesn't live up to what we expected, we're so upset that we try and do something about it.


We're complaining, Bioware, because we love your game so much.

Yeah, sounds like they are being intentionally vague. They are going to do something, but I don't think they know what that is yet.

Edit: That being said. I don't really care too much about this. I suppose a small insignifcant victory is still a victory. That ending was crap and I'm looking forward to 'closure'.
